The Grinch has a rounded stomach, elongated fingers and feet accentuated by tufts of green hair, and grimy yellow teeth. His face features prominent black eyebrows and deep forehead lines, giving him a sinister and brooding appearance. His mouth, typically subtle when neutral, stretches dramatically when he smiles. His eyes are deep-set and ovoid, with red irises and yellow sclera. After his "conversion," his eyes become rounder with blue irises and white sclera, reflecting his newfound joy.

Similarly, his facial features soften, and his once-angular face takes on a heart-shaped appearance when he smiles broadly. The Grinch also has a sly, contemplative smile that shifts into a mischievous grin when he hatches a scheme. His long neck is covered with layers of green fur, and his large stomach appears to serve as a kind of pocket where he rests his hands.

His posture is notably flexible, allowing for exaggerated movements, and he often adopts a stealthy, sneaky gait when navigating around the Whos.
