== Personality == Lane Alexander is considered one of the more level-headed employees at Hollywood Arts, though that isn’t saying much given the eccentric staff. While he occasionally helps students with their problems, he comes across as somewhat lazy. For instance, in The Great Ping Pong Scam, he complains about students frequently approaching him with their issues, prompting Tori to remind him that it’s literally his job. He often appears irritated with students who struggle to control their emotions, particularly André and Jade. Lane tends to avoid direct involvement in student conflicts, as seen in a deleted scene from Tori and Jade's Playdate, where he delegates the task of informing Randy Bronson about his expulsion to Cat and Robbie. Known for his disdain for backtalk, Lane harshly reprimands Robbie for "sassing" him in One Thousand Berry Balls, which often puts him at odds with the outspoken Vega sisters. He is also notably stubborn, as demonstrated in Stage Fighting, where he refuses to believe Tori didn’t hit Jade on purpose, suggesting she has anger issues while dismissing her side entirely. His similar attitude in The Wood implies he has little tolerance for accidents. One of Lane's quirks is an unusual obsession with lotion. He’s frequently seen applying it to his hands, favoring odd scents like bacon or sour cream.
