== Biography == ==== Pilot ==== In the pilot episode, Trina Vega is upset that her partner for the annual showcase at Hollywood Arts High School is André Harris, a tenth grader. She is worried because the showcase will have important talent scouts and music industry professionals in attendance. Determined to put on a good performance, Trina kicks Tori's project partner Ian out and insists that Tori and André help her with the song she plans to perform, "Make It Shine." During rehearsals, Tori and André form a close friendship, despite Trina’s overbearing nature. On the day of the showcase, Trina drinks a Chinese Herb Gargle to help her sing better, but it causes her tongue to swell up. Backstage, André suggests that Tori should replace Trina since she knows the song from helping with rehearsals. Initially reluctant, Tori is eventually persuaded to take the stage. She performs successfully, impressing everyone, including Trina. Later, Trina accompanies Tori on her first day at Hollywood Arts but soon abandons her to socialize with friends. When Tori considers dropping out, Trina encourages her to stay, complimenting her performance at the showcase, although she insists she would have been "amazing" herself. ==== "The Bird Scene" ==== In "The Bird Scene," Tori and Trina eagerly look at the play roster for the new semester. André encourages Tori to audition for the lead in "Moonlight Magic," a play they had worked on together, but Trina, doubting Tori's acting abilities, questions whether she should take on such a prominent role. ==== "Stage Fighting" ==== In "Stage Fighting," Trina auditions for a World War II play with Robbie Shapiro, leading Robbie to develop feelings for her. The audition includes a stage kiss, which Robbie mistakenly interprets as genuine. Believing they have mutual feelings, Robbie kisses Trina at lunch, causing her to spit skim milk in his face in shock. Robbie repeatedly approaches Trina, who continuously rejects him. Frustrated, Cat explains to Robbie that a stage kiss does not mean a real romantic interest and demonstrates by kissing him herself, shifting Robbie's focus to her instead. ==== "The Birthweek Song" ==== In "The Birthweek Song," Trina is eagerly anticipating her "birthweek," a week-long celebration of her birthday, as she believes a single day is not sufficient. Tori struggles to find a present for Trina, whose tastes and expectations are high. After several failed attempts to get Trina the perfect gift, André suggests Tori write and perform a song for Trina. On the day of the celebration, Tori sings "You're the Reason" as a heartfelt gift. Although Trina initially hugs Tori in appreciation, she soon asks where her actual present is, frustrating Tori. When Trina continues to dismiss the song as a meaningful gift, Tori angrily clarifies that the song itself was her present. Later, Trina sells the song to her friend's uncle, who owns a record label, and uses the money to buy herself a hat, which she considers Tori's gift to her. Furious, Tori retaliates by giving Trina coffee that had been thrown away by Jade. When Trina attempts to record the song professionally, the producers realize she isn’t the original vocalist. Trina brings Tori and André to the studio to solve the problem. While Tori is recording, the producers receive a call that Beyoncé is interested in the song, and they leave Tori, André, and Trina alone in the dark studio. ==== "Tori the Zombie" ==== In "Tori the Zombie," Tori tries to scare Trina with monster makeup, but Trina is unimpressed. Trina realizes that the glue used by Cat to apply the makeup is industrial-grade and not safe for skin. Despite efforts to remove the makeup, it won't come off. Trina calls a doctor, and Cat contacts the glue company. The doctor offers no solution, but the glue company informs them that the solvent is only available at a factory in Bakersfield. Trina and Cat agree to drive to Bakersfield to retrieve the solvent, but they face several delays, including being stopped by the police and making an unnecessary stop for ice cream, which aggravates Tori, who is waiting for them to return. Eventually, Tori has to start her play with the monster makeup on. During the performance, Trina and Cat signal Tori to come offstage, and they use fiddling knives and the solvent to scrape the mask off her face. The plan works, and Tori finishes her performance. This episode also marks the beginning of a friendship between Trina and Cat, which continues in future episodes. ==== "Survival of the Hottest" ==== In "Survival of the Hottest," a heatwave hits Los Angeles, prompting the students at Hollywood Arts to seek relief. Beck suggests going to Venice Beach in his Airstream RV. Trina overhears the plan and invites herself, much to everyone's annoyance. Once there, Cat leaves to find a bathroom while the rest of the gang prepares to go to the beach, only to discover they are trapped in the RV because a 7,000-pound motor home is blocking the door. The group initially waits for Cat to return and move the vehicle, but they start to become desperate for water. They eventually find out that Trina had a bottle of water hidden in her bag but had only left a cap's worth after drinking most of it. When Cat finally returns and opens the door, Trina is the first to jump out, and they all rush to enjoy the beach. ==== "Wi-Fi in the Sky" ==== In "Wi-Fi in the Sky," Trina and Tori are on a flight from San Diego to Los Angeles. During the flight, Trina is annoyed by a young boy kicking her seat. Later, she goes to use the first-class restroom, despite not being allowed, since the second-class restroom is occupied. Climbing over Tori to get to the aisle, Trina unwittingly gives Beck and André, who are on a webcam, an embarrassing view, prompting them to shout in alarm. After returning from the restroom, the boy teasingly calls Trina a "freak," but also "hot," though he thinks Tori is hotter. Trina then reveals she saw Perez Hilton in first class and took his camera to "return" it, hoping this act will get her featured on his blog and make her famous. Trina spends the rest of the episode looking through Perez's photos until he confronts her, demanding his camera back. A struggle ensues, dragging Tori into the fray and causing a commotion on the plane. ==== "Cat's New Boyfriend" ==== In "Cat's New Boyfriend," Trina's smooth feet become the talk of the school, and many students, including Robbie, are eager to feel them. Trina invites Robbie to her house to show him her secret: she uses exotic fish to nibble away the dead skin on her feet. Robbie pays Trina $50 to use the fish on his feet as well, and soon he also begins receiving attention for his smooth feet. André, Beck, and Jade all follow suit, undergoing the treatment at the Vega household. However, everyone who received the treatment ends up in the hospital due to a virus contracted from the fish saliva, which is toxic and filled with bacteria. Despite their condition, the doctor and nurses note that everyone's feet are indeed very smooth. Meanwhile, Trina is seen vomiting into a plastic bucket. ==== "Freak the Freak Out" ==== In "Freak the Freak Out," Trina answers Tori's phone when Mark McCallan, a popular boy at school, calls to ask Tori out. Trina lies to Mark, saying Tori has plans, and suggests that he take her out instead. Mark agrees, but Trina’s plans are derailed when her father reveals she has to get her wisdom teeth removed that Friday. Tori is amused until she learns she has to take care of Trina over the weekend because their parents will be in Santa Barbara. Trina is in constant pain after the surgery, making it difficult for Tori to care for her. Trina refuses her medication and care, leading to multiple arguments. When Tori's friends visit the next day, Tori devises a plan for revenge and leaves Trina in the care of Hayley Ferguson and Tara Ganz, who lost a bet. After a chaotic fight with the two girls, Trina's father sees the commotion and tells his wife they should leave, while Tori and her friends enjoy themselves at Karaoke Dokie. ==== "Rex Dies" ==== In "[[Rex Powers|Rex]] Dies," Trina appears in the final scene dating Lendle, whom she believes is a "super-hot guitar player" due to Tori's trick. When Trina finds out that Lendle is actually a loser, she vows to get revenge on Tori for deceiving her. ==== "The Diddly-Bops" ==== In "The Diddly-Bops," Trina is upset because Tori didn't invite her to join the titular group. Upon learning that André is speaking with a music producer, she chases him around the school, desperately singing her birthweek song, "You're the Reason." When Cat books another gig for The Diddly-Bops, and the others refuse to perform, Trina eagerly volunteers to join the group. Later, Trina, Cat, and several others perform for children at a mall, but the kids realize they aren't the real Diddly-Bops and attack them, destroying their costumes. After the chaotic event, they watch Tori and André perform "Song 2 You" from the sidelines. ==== "Wok Star" ==== In "Wok Star," Trina and André help Tori and Jade by pretending to be a fictional diva named Jackie Bonet and her bodyguard to distract Mrs. Lee from interfering with Jade's play. ==== "The Wood" ==== In "The Wood," Trina and Robbie are rejected from participating in a reality show, which leads to a heated argument between them. During the argument, they accidentally injure Festus, the food truck operator at The Grub Truck. As punishment, they are forced to take over Festus' job until he recovers. Working together proves to be chaotic and stressful, resulting in several arguments between Trina and Robbie. Just as they are about to give up, Festus returns, and both Trina and Robbie express their relief and gratitude that he is back. ==== "A Film by Dale Squires" ==== In "A Film by Dale Squires," Trina and [[Sinjin Van Cleef|Sinjin]] repeatedly interrupt Dale Squires' class. To get rid of Trina, Tori embarrasses her by revealing that when Trina was six, she had an accident on Santa Claus' lap during a family visit. Trina tries to defend herself by explaining that she had a bladder infection at the time, but she ultimately leaves the classroom in embarrassment. Cat mentions that Tori locked Trina in the bathroom, possibly to keep her from bothering Dale Squires. ==== "Sleepover at Sikowitz's" ==== In "Sleepover at Sikowitz's," Trina is absent from the main storyline, but her absence is noted by David Vega, who states, "Trina's not here." According to a post on TheSlap.com, Trina confirms she was at the mall with her friends during the events of the episode. ==== "Beggin' on Your Knees" ==== In "Beggin' on Your Knees," when Ryder Daniels asks Tori out, Trina and Jade warn her about Ryder's bad reputation, but Tori initially disregards their warnings. When Ryder visits Tori's house for sushi, Trina persuades Tori to check his text messages to learn more about his character. Tori gets caught snooping through Ryder's phone, leading to a temporary breakup. Later, at the end of the episode, during Tori's performance of "Beggin' on Your Knees," Trina is seen in the audience next to Cat, cheering for her sister. ==== "Ice Cream for Ke$ha" ==== In "Ice Cream for Ke$ha," Tori becomes Trina's personal assistant for a month due to a childhood promise. Trina takes advantage of this by assigning Tori ridiculous tasks, such as plucking her toe hair and giving her a bubble bath. Tori sees an opportunity to end her servitude when she learns about a contest to win a private concert by Ke$ha. Trina agrees that if Tori wins, she will be free from her assistant duties. When Tori and her friends win the contest, Trina takes the chance to meet Ke$ha and even tries to take her to see her room. Ke$ha eventually flees from Trina's overenthusiastic behavior. Additionally, Trina lets a little boy who had been tricked by Tori, Cat, and Jade into the house after he complains that the girls didn't keep their promise to kiss him. When Trina offers to kiss the boy, he responds, "Gross," and quickly leaves. ==== "Tori Gets Stuck" ==== In "Tori Gets Stuck," Trina is cast in the role of a little girl with tuberculosis in the school play "Steamboat Suzy." Sikowitz criticizes her performance, suggesting that her coughs are not convincing enough. Determined to prove herself, Trina goes to extreme lengths to research the role. She visits Robbie at the hospital, where she overhears a man with tuberculosis coughing in a nearby room. She and Cat sneak into the man's room so Trina can record his coughing. Unfortunately, Trina gets too close and ends up contracting tuberculosis for real. Sikowitz, impressed by the authenticity of her performance, tells her that if she believes she has tuberculosis, the audience will too, dismissing her claim that she has actually contracted the illness. ==== "Prom Wrecker" ==== In "Prom Wrecker," Trina is a contender for the title of Prome Queen. To ensure her victory, she persuades Sinjin to hack TheSlap and manipulate the votes in her favor. Sinjin agrees to do this on the condition that Trina be his date to the Prome. At the event, just as Tori is ready to let Jade win, Trina reminds her that she still needs to announce the Prome King and Queen. Tori decides to ignore the manipulated results and instead announces Jade as the winner, thwarting Trina's plan. Enraged, Trina drags Sinjin away and presumably punishes him for his failure. Later, the two are seen dancing next to each other, and when it starts raining, Sinjin offers his jacket to Trina. ==== "Locked Up!" ==== In "Locked Up!," after Tori's parents force her to bring Trina along on a trip to Yerba following a golfing incident, the gang arrives to find that their hotel is in terrible condition. Trina and Robbie check out their rooms and report back that they are even worse than expected. Meanwhile, the group learns that the country is in the midst of a war. That night, they are startled by the sounds of the conflict and the appearance of a fugitive, and they demand to return home, but the hotel staff and soldiers refuse to let them leave. The next day, while preparing for a performance, Tori tells Jade that they plan to turn off Trina's microphone during the show. Trina and Cat excitedly inform the group that the Yerbanian Chancellor will attend their performance. During the show, Tori accidentally hits the Chancellor in the eye with her shoe, leading to her arrest for assault. Trina and the others visit Tori in jail, assuring her they are doing everything they can to secure her release. They plead with the Chancellor, who initially agrees to free Tori, but after a mishap involving Robbie and the Chancellor's octopus, he changes his mind and sends the entire group to prison. Sikowitz, disguised as a security guard, devises an escape plan, and Tori suggests performing again to distract the Chancellor. During the new performance, Trina, Tori, and the others sing "I Want You Back." While the audience applauds, the gang takes the opportunity to sneak out and make their way to a waiting truck driven by Sikowitz, successfully escaping from Yerba. ==== "Helen Back Again" ==== In "Helen Back Again," Principal Eikner resigns from Hollywood Arts to be with his new girlfriend's family, and the new principal, Helen Dubois, takes over. Helen informs all the students that they must re-audition to remain at the school. Tori urges Trina to spend her time preparing for her re-audition, but Trina believes she will easily pass without much effort. After the re-auditions, Helen tells Tori that she has been kicked out because she is "irritating and talentless." However, Tori's friends (excluding Jade) discover that Helen actually confused Tori with Trina and that it is Trina who is being expelled. Tori decides to help her sister and devises a plan with Robbie and André: they trick Trina into arriving early at school by telling her there is an early morning breakfast buffet. Robbie, disguised as a mugger, pretends to rob Helen, prompting Trina to use her karate skills to "save" her. Helen, grateful for Trina's intervention, agrees to let her stay at Hollywood Arts, while Trina mistakenly believes she was staying all along and that Helen had just decided to allow Tori to stay. ==== "Who Did It to Trina?" ==== In "Who Did It to Trina?", Tori directs a play and reluctantly casts Trina as the lead after Trina holds Tori's doll hostage, demanding the role in exchange for its return. An investigation follows to determine if the incident was an accident or a deliberate act. Trina then uses the distraction of Tori and André's performance to steal a waitress's clothes and make another attempt to sing to Shawn. Shawn sees her but allows her to stay. ==== "Car, Rain & Fire" ==== In "Car, Rain & Fire," after Trina spreads a rumor that Beck asked her out, Beck decides to get back at her by pretending to be in love with her. After the boys argue, Trina tells her dad, only to find the boys playing with sock puppets on the couch. Jade recounts that Trina threw a gas bomb during her audition, causing the staff to pass out while she wore a gas mask, allowing her to mark “yes” on all the approval checklists. Beck says that Trina challenged the staff to a fight and won, earning her admission. Sikowitz claims that while the rest of the staff went to get Sinjin’s face from the soda machine, he watched Trina’s audition while drinking rotten coconut milk, causing him to hallucinate and see Trina performing exceptionally, leading him to admit her. Since Sikowitz was the only person present at the audition, his account is considered the most reliable. ==== "Tori Goes Platinum" ==== In "Tori Goes Platinum," Trina auditions to sing the opening number at the Platinum Music Awards.
