==Biography==
In ''Yu-Gi-Oh! GX'', the Sacred Beasts are legendary entities whose cards were sealed by Kagemaru beneath Duel Academy, behind the Spirit Gates. These gates can only be opened with seven Spirit Keys. Kagemaru initially failed to unlock their power, but their release was foretold to bring chaos and darkness upon the world.

The Shadow Riders sought to obtain the Spirit Keys to revive the Sacred Beasts. However, the gates required a strong dueling presence to activate, rendering attempts like Don Zaloog’s theft of the keys ineffective. To protect the keys, seven elite duelists from Duel Academy were chosen: [[Jaden Yuki]], [[Zane Truesdale]], [[Chazz Princeton]], [[Alexis Rhodes]], [[Bastion Misawa]], [[Professor Banner|Lyman Banner]] (secretly a Shadow Rider), and [[Vellian Crowler]]. Despite the Shadow Riders’ efforts, Kagemaru ultimately awakened the Sacred Beasts using the dueling energy generated by these battles.

Kagemaru challenged Jaden Yuki to a duel, seeking to harness Jaden’s unique ability to commune with Duel Spirits. Uria was the first Sacred Beast he summoned, posing a significant threat with its ability to revive itself and gain power. In exchange for their release, the Sacred Beasts gradually restored Kagemaru's youth by draining energy from Duel Monster spirits. However, Jaden’s determination led to Kagemaru's defeat, and the Sacred Beasts were sealed once more.

In the third season, after Duel Academy was transported to an alternate dimension, a Yubel-possessed Marcel Bonaparte retrieved the Sacred Beasts and built a deck around them. This deck enhanced their summoning speed and supported the summoning of their fusion form, "[[Chaos Phantasm Armityle]]." Later, Jesse Anderson, while possessed by Yubel, also used the Sacred Beasts to dominate in duels. Uria played a pivotal role in turning the tide of a match by destroying Adrian’s "Burden of the Mighty."

Although Yubel didn’t use the Sacred Beasts during her final duel with Jaden, "[[Raviel, Lord of Phantasms|Raviel]]" was shown in her deck. After Yubel merged with Jaden, the fate of the Sacred Beasts remains unclear, though it is likely Jaden returned them to their resting place.
