* Judith was named after the French actress Judith Henry because she and the actress look remarkably similar.
* It's possible that Judith casually mentioned her sexual orientation in the "Pilot" episode as a way to justify her decision to get a divorce from Alan. 
* Judith has a strained relationship with her parents and sister, who favor Alan over her and seem to dislike Herb. They are both deeply disappointed in Judith's choices, such as "destroying her marriage" with Alan and briefly embracing lesbianism, which has led to Judith feeling angry and bitter. 
* It's suggested that Judith seeks therapy, where she is prescribed strong sedatives to deal with her family issues.
