===Dragon Ball Super=== ====Universe 6 Saga==== Hit is chosen by Vados to join Team Universe 6 for the Tournament of Destroyers, where they face off against Team Universe 7. In exchange for his participation, Hit is promised Champa's cube as a reward if his team wins the tournament. On the day of the event, Hit arrives at the Nameless Planet alongside his fellow Universe 6 fighters: Cabba, Frost, Botamo, and Auta Magetta. He passes the written exam necessary to compete in the tournament, though he remains disinterested in the early matches, sitting with his eyes closed during the first bout between Goku and Botamo. While Goku defeats Botamo easily and proceeds to fight Frost, Hit shows little interest, opening his eyes briefly when Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan, but then closing them again. Frost manages to defeat Goku using poison, a violation of the rules that goes unnoticed at first, allowing Frost to advance to the next round against Piccolo. After Frost uses the same poison technique, Jaco alerts the referee, leading to Frost's disqualification. However, Vegeta insists on fighting Frost, and Piccolo forfeits to let him. Throughout all of this, Hit remains detached, with his eyes closed and showing no interest in the events unfolding around him. When Vegeta defeats Frost, Hit notices Frost attempting to sneak away and hijack Champa's cube to steal the treasure he was promised for winning. Hit intercepts Frost, stunning him with a mysterious technique, and informs him that he intends to claim Champa's cube for himself upon winning the tournament. Afterward, Hit returns to the tournament grounds, carrying Frost along with him. As Vegeta faces Cabba in the next match, Hit remains mostly uninterested, only briefly glancing at Vegeta when he transforms into Super Saiyan Blue. Once Vegeta defeats Cabba, Hit steps into the ring as Team Universe 6's final competitor. Utilizing his Time-Skip ability, Hit attacks Vegeta’s vital points, leaving him confused and at a disadvantage. In the manga, Vegeta is further handicapped by only being able to access 10% of his full power after showing Cabba his Super Saiyan Blue form. Hit urges Vegeta to surrender after landing several blows. He fights with his hands in his pockets, signaling that Vegeta’s attempts to counter him are futile. During the battle, Vegeta recognizes that Hit’s use of lighter, precise strikes is his main vulnerability. Vegeta boldly declares that he will defeat Hit with a direct assault, but Hit responds with a decisive blow to Vegeta’s abdomen, knocking him unconscious. With Vegeta unable to surrender, the referee declares Hit the winner. Goku then steps up for his match against Hit, having been illegitimately eliminated by Frost earlier in the tournament. As the match begins, Goku respectfully bows to Hit, surprising the assassin. Hit questions why Goku hasn’t transformed yet, to which Goku replies that transforming consumes too much stamina, and he plans to save it for later. Goku admits that he’ll wait to transform until he figures out how to defeat Hit, prompting Hit to call him naive for revealing his strategy so easily. The fight begins with Hit landing a firm kick to Goku’s abdomen. Goku struggles to counter Hit’s attacks, failing to land a blow. Hit warns Goku that no matter how strong he is, continuous hits to his vital points will eventually kill him and advises him to surrender. However, Goku refuses, claiming he’s found a way to counter Hit’s Time-Skip ability. Goku charges at Hit and manages to block his attack for the first time, striking back and causing Hit to bleed. Hit dismisses the wound as a fluke, but Goku successfully blocks more of Hit's moves, landing another kick that genuinely surprises Hit. Goku reveals that since Hit’s Time-Skip lasts only one-tenth of a second, he can predict Hit’s moves. Hit, realizing he needs to take the fight seriously, removes his hands from his pockets. Goku responds by powering up as well, transforming into Super Saiyan Blue in the anime and a regular Super Saiyan in the manga. Despite Goku's advantage in power, he struggles with Hit's Time-Skip, as predicting the technique repeatedly begins to drain his energy. In response, Goku further powers up into Super Saiyan God in the manga. Hit unleashes his full power, though he notes that it can only last for less than a minute. The two fighters seem evenly matched until Goku transforms again into Super Saiyan Blue and overwhelms Hit. Hit attempts to counter with his Time-Skip, but it proves ineffective. Goku continues to dominate the battle and, in the manga, decides to forfeit the match, feeling that the fight is unfair due to the tournament rules. In the anime, after Goku lands a kick, Hit mimics Goku’s power-up screams, pretending to raise his energy level. Just as Goku prepares to strike, Hit uses his improved Time-Skip to deliver a powerful blow to Goku's abdomen, temporarily knocking him down. Hit asks the referee again if killing is allowed, but the referee once more denies the request. As the referee is about to declare Hit the winner, Goku stands up, stating that he’s fine and ready to use a new technique he had intended to use against Beerus, though it only has a ten percent chance of working. Goku begins powering up, surrounded by a red glow within his Super Saiyan Blue aura. After powering up sufficiently, Goku unveils his trump card: the Kaio-ken technique, and briefly explains it to Hit. The two then collide, with Hit attempting to attack using his Time-Skip ability. However, Goku counters even during the Time-Skip, surprising Hit. Goku explains that his power has now surpassed Hit's ability to manipulate time. Feeling his power diminishing, Goku unleashes a Kamehameha, which puts Hit on the defensive. The energy from both fighters cracks the tournament dome, forcing Whis and Vados to protect the audience and restore the arena. When the smoke clears, Hit reveals that he had further increased his Time-Skip during the Kamehameha and avoided being caught in its blast. Hit retaliates with a flurry of attacks using his Time-Skip, but as Goku appears to be defeated, he powers up once more and lands a blow on Hit. Both fighters are left kneeling, with Goku's body deteriorating from the strain. Goku then requests that Beerus allow killing in the tournament, believing that Hit’s full potential is only unlocked when he’s allowed to kill. Beerus objects, but Champa supports the idea, claiming that Goku suggested it. As the two Gods of Destruction argue, Goku points out their selfishness, and Hit agrees, noting that they treat the fighters like pawns. In rebellion, Goku steps out of the ring, making Hit the winner by default. Monaka, the final contestant for Team Universe 7, enters the ring. Champa immediately starts the final match. Hit notices Monaka shaking nervously. When Monaka attempts an attack, Hit is unbothered, but then dramatically screams and throws himself out of the ring, purposely losing the match. While Goku is congratulated by his friends, Hit remarks that he and Goku are now even and returns to his platform. Hit informs Vados and Champa that he has lost interest in the cube and requests to be taken home. Champa, enraged by Hit’s defiance and deliberate loss, prepares a ki blast to kill him. Champa expresses his frustration with the fighters for embarrassing him and disobeying orders. Cabba tries to reason with Champa but fails, as Champa remains furious with all of Universe 6's fighters. Before Champa can attack, Vados alerts him that Zeno is present in the arena. Zeno's presence scares both Champa and Beerus, sparing the lives of Team Universe 6. Before leaving for their respective universes, Hit and Goku share a handshake, promising to fight again in the future. ===="Future" Trunks Saga==== Hit makes a brief cameo when Gowasu and Zamasu review footage of his match against Super Saiyan Blue Goku during the Tournament of Destroyers. Later, Hit receives a contract to eliminate a mob boss in Universe 6, easily completing the task using his Time-Skip ability without being detected. After disposing of the mob boss's necklace, Hit checks his assignment device and discovers that his next target is Goku, which excites him. Unknown to Hit, Goku himself had hired Whis (through Vados) to contract Hit, wanting to fight him at full power. Hit travels to Universe 7 and confronts Goku, telling him that his attacks will no longer be effective. Hit's body emits a purple outline as Goku's flurry of punches and kicks pass through him, as though he isn't there. A stunned Goku attempts to use a ki blast, but Hit counters by sending a shock wave that caves in Goku's chest, temporarily stopping his heart. As Goku collapses, Hit flies away, assuming his mission is complete. However, he soon returns upon realizing Goku is still alive, thanks to a ki blast Goku fired earlier to revive himself. In a forest, Goku starts learning how Hit's assassination techniques work. After a few failed attempts, Goku eventually manages to block Hit’s attacks and even lands a scratch on him, much to Hit's amusement. Vados reveals that Hit is storing the time he skips, using it to move within pocket dimensions, allowing him to appear in multiple places simultaneously. Goku, having deduced this, powers up to maximum, causing Hit's pocket dimension to shatter and revealing his true location. Hit tries to regain control but is hit by Goku's God Kamehameha, leaving both fighters exhausted. Afterwards, Hit learns that Goku hired him for the fight, which confuses him. Hit admits that Goku is more complex than he can understand and asks if there is a time limit to the contract, to which Goku says no. Hit then departs, remarking that there are too many witnesses. With a smile, he warns Goku to watch his back, as he will take his time to fulfill the mission. ====Universe Survival Saga==== In the anime, Hit tracks down Frost to recruit him for Universe 6's team, but Frost mistakes the approach as an assassination attempt and attacks Hit. After a brief fight, Hit easily defeats Frost but spares his life, complimenting his improved abilities. However, Hit forces Frost to get rid of the poison on his tail and knees, warning him that using such methods would risk erasure by the Zenos. At the tournament arena, Hit speaks with Goku. He claims in the manga that he has grown stronger and will not lose to Goku the same way he did in their previous encounter. As the tournament begins in the anime, Hit, alongside Basil, stops Narirama's spinning attack by stomping on his extendable arms. When Universe 9 is erased, Hit resumes fighting and nearly faces Vegeta again, but is blocked by Botamo, who is moving toward the Saiyans. Hit uses his Time-Skip to knock Narirama out of the ring with a single flick and later saves Caulifla from being caught in the crossfire when Kale transforms into her Legendary Super Saiyan form. Hit is shown to be more concerned about Kale disqualifying herself by killing someone than about his own safety. After Kale is knocked out by Jiren, Hit prepares to hold off Jiren, giving Caulifla and Kale time to escape. However, Goku appears and distracts Jiren, allowing Hit to assist Caulifla and Kale in their tactical retreat. In the manga, Hit encounters Jiren early in the tournament. Like his previous battle with Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Hit's Time-Skip proves ineffective against Jiren, and he is quickly knocked down. Goku, in his Perfected Super Saiyan Blue form, joins the fight but is also overpowered by Jiren. When Jiren is about to knock Goku out of the ring, Hit lands a surprise kick on Jiren, surprising Goku, who thought Hit relied solely on Time-Skip. Hit removes the lower part of his coat, explaining that he no longer relies on Time-Skip due to its ineffectiveness. He fights Jiren as a true warrior but is still unable to make much of an impact. Hit reveals to Goku that he has a new special technique called Time Lag, which he can only use once. He asks Goku to assist him in defeating Jiren, but Goku refuses, insisting that he will achieve a power greater than Super Saiyan Blue to win. Hit proceeds to fight alone and uses the Time Lag technique, which slows Jiren's movements and gives Hit a temporary advantage. He pushes Jiren toward the edge of the arena, but Jiren reveals that it was a trap. Jiren speeds up suddenly and eliminates Hit with a single uppercut, sending him out of the arena. After his elimination, Hit appears in the stands, regretting that he wasn't strong enough to defeat Jiren. In the anime, Hit confronts Dyspo in a heated battle. When Hit initially attempts to use his Time-Skip, Dyspo manages to counter it, revealing that he uses his keen hearing to detect the tensing of Hit’s muscles before the technique is used. Dyspo attacks with his Light Bullet, landing a hit on Hit after avoiding Time-Skip multiple times. Hit realizes what Dyspo is doing, and although he is knocked back several times, he allows himself to be hit strategically while dodging major blows. As Dyspo charges, thinking he has defeated Hit, Hit successfully uses Time-Skip to move, causing Dyspo to nearly fall from the ring. Dyspo is saved by K'nsi, and the two team up to fight Hit. Despite being restrained by K'nsi's Energy Threads, which allows Dyspo to land hits on him, Hit remains unimpressed. Super Saiyan God Goku intervenes, preventing Caulifla from joining the fight. Goku handles Dyspo, while Hit deals with K'nsi, nearly killing him with his Flash Crush Fist. Hit then switches focus back to Dyspo and lands a massive blow by tensing his muscles, catching Dyspo off guard. K'nsi tries to sacrifice himself by taking Hit down with him, but Hit counters with an enhanced Time-Skip, eliminating K'nsi from the tournament. Dyspo escapes, and Hit and Goku agree to settle their rivalry later. Later in the tournament, Hit witnesses Goku's new form (Ultra Instinct) during his fight with Jiren. After Goku loses control of his form, Hit saves him from further damage. Hit then confronts Jiren directly, but Jiren effortlessly blocks all of Hit's attacks and counters his Time-Skip, shocking both Hit and Champa. Hit reveals that he had been intentionally taking hits to study Jiren's fighting style. With this knowledge, Hit manages to land a critical blow, nearly knocking Jiren out of the ring. Hit's trump card is an attack that paralyzes Jiren’s body, but Jiren starts to break free. Hit goes for a final attack, but Jiren counters with a barrier and escapes from paralysis. Jiren then uses Power Impact to send Hit flying out of the ring. Before Hit is eliminated, Champa tells him he did a good job and that his efforts will help the other Universe 6 fighters. Hit watches the rest of the tournament silently from the stands as his teammates continue to fight. Eventually, Universe 6 is erased after Saonel and Pilina are eliminated by Gohan and Piccolo. However, Hit and the rest of Universe 6 are later revived when Android 17 uses the Super Dragon Balls to restore all erased universes.
