===Minecraft=== In ''Minecraft''’s Survival/Hardcore Mode, the player starts with nothing and is spawned in a vast, open world filled with dangers. Their first goal is to gather essential resources, hunt for food, and build a secure shelter to protect themselves from hostile mobs, such as Zombies, Creepers, and Skeletons, which appear primarily at night. As they explore, players collect resources from mining, crafting tools, and constructing buildings. Throughout their journey, the player can tame animals like wolves, cats, and horses to serve as companions. In villages, they encounter villagers (formerly known as Testificates) and can trade for useful items or protect the village from zombie sieges or illager raids, earning the title "Hero of the Village." Caves, dungeons, and other abandoned structures provide opportunities to find valuable resources like iron and, eventually, diamonds. Mining diamonds, once considered the ultimate goal, allows players to craft powerful tools and armor. Diamond pickaxes, in particular, enable players to mine obsidian and build a Nether Portal, giving access to the dangerous but resource-rich Nether dimension. Here, players may face Ghasts and other hostile entities, leading to new challenges. In ''Minecraft'', once players enter the Nether, they are met with a dangerous, hellish landscape filled with lava lakes and unique hostile mobs like Ghasts, Blazes, Magma Cubes, and Zombie Pigmen. A key structure in the Nether is the Nether Fortress, where players can defeat Blazes to collect Blaze Rods, an essential item for brewing and progressing in the game. Players may also fight Ghasts to obtain Ghast Tears for potion-making. After securing resources, they can use a portal to safely return to the Overworld. To progress toward the endgame, players need to gather Ender Pearls from Endermen and craft Eyes of Ender. These Eyes guide them to the stronghold, where they can activate the End Portal. Entering the End dimension, they encounter the game's final boss, the Ender Dragon. The dragon must be defeated to unlock the game's final achievements and to gain the highest experience levels. Though players can bring companions like wolves or snow golems to the fight, they often recommend battling the dragon alone, as the companions are easily killed by the dragon and Endermen. Defeating the Ender Dragon drops a significant amount of experience and unlocks an End Portal leading back to the Overworld. Players can also collect the Dragon Egg as a trophy. The endgame credits, along with an End Poem, roll after stepping through the portal. Once the Ender Dragon is defeated, players can optionally pursue the game's next major challenge: the Wither. Summoning and defeating the Wither rewards the Nether Star, which is used to create a beacon—a powerful tool that offers beneficial effects. Players may also challenge themselves by exploring and conquering an Ocean Monument to defeat the Elder Guardian. These post-game tasks are nonlinear and completely optional, allowing players to continue shaping their worlds and achieving personal goals.
