====Universe 6 Saga==== Hit is chosen by Vados to join Team Universe 6 for the Tournament of Destroyers, where they face off against Team Universe 7. In exchange for his participation, Hit is promised Champa's cube as a reward if his team wins the tournament. On the day of the event, Hit arrives at the Nameless Planet alongside his fellow Universe 6 fighters: Cabba, Frost, Botamo, and Auta Magetta. He passes the written exam necessary to compete in the tournament, though he remains disinterested in the early matches, sitting with his eyes closed during the first bout between Goku and Botamo. While Goku defeats Botamo easily and proceeds to fight Frost, Hit shows little interest, opening his eyes briefly when Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan, but then closing them again. Frost manages to defeat Goku using poison, a violation of the rules that goes unnoticed at first, allowing Frost to advance to the next round against Piccolo. After Frost uses the same poison technique, Jaco alerts the referee, leading to Frost's disqualification. However, Vegeta insists on fighting Frost, and Piccolo forfeits to let him. Throughout all of this, Hit remains detached, with his eyes closed and showing no interest in the events unfolding around him. When Vegeta defeats Frost, Hit notices Frost attempting to sneak away and hijack Champa's cube to steal the treasure he was promised for winning. Hit intercepts Frost, stunning him with a mysterious technique, and informs him that he intends to claim Champa's cube for himself upon winning the tournament. Afterward, Hit returns to the tournament grounds, carrying Frost along with him. As Vegeta faces Cabba in the next match, Hit remains mostly uninterested, only briefly glancing at Vegeta when he transforms into Super Saiyan Blue. Once Vegeta defeats Cabba, Hit steps into the ring as Team Universe 6's final competitor. Utilizing his Time-Skip ability, Hit attacks Vegeta’s vital points, leaving him confused and at a disadvantage. In the manga, Vegeta is further handicapped by only being able to access 10% of his full power after showing Cabba his Super Saiyan Blue form. Hit urges Vegeta to surrender after landing several blows. He fights with his hands in his pockets, signaling that Vegeta’s attempts to counter him are futile. During the battle, Vegeta recognizes that Hit’s use of lighter, precise strikes is his main vulnerability. Vegeta boldly declares that he will defeat Hit with a direct assault, but Hit responds with a decisive blow to Vegeta’s abdomen, knocking him unconscious. With Vegeta unable to surrender, the referee declares Hit the winner. Goku then steps up for his match against Hit, having been illegitimately eliminated by Frost earlier in the tournament. As the match begins, Goku respectfully bows to Hit, surprising the assassin. Hit questions why Goku hasn’t transformed yet, to which Goku replies that transforming consumes too much stamina, and he plans to save it for later. Goku admits that he’ll wait to transform until he figures out how to defeat Hit, prompting Hit to call him naive for revealing his strategy so easily. The fight begins with Hit landing a firm kick to Goku’s abdomen. Goku struggles to counter Hit’s attacks, failing to land a blow. Hit warns Goku that no matter how strong he is, continuous hits to his vital points will eventually kill him and advises him to surrender. However, Goku refuses, claiming he’s found a way to counter Hit’s Time-Skip ability. Goku charges at Hit and manages to block his attack for the first time, striking back and causing Hit to bleed. Hit dismisses the wound as a fluke, but Goku successfully blocks more of Hit's moves, landing another kick that genuinely surprises Hit. Goku reveals that since Hit’s Time-Skip lasts only one-tenth of a second, he can predict Hit’s moves. Hit, realizing he needs to take the fight seriously, removes his hands from his pockets. Goku responds by powering up as well, transforming into Super Saiyan Blue in the anime and a regular Super Saiyan in the manga. Despite Goku's advantage in power, he struggles with Hit's Time-Skip, as predicting the technique repeatedly begins to drain his energy. In response, Goku further powers up into Super Saiyan God in the manga. Hit unleashes his full power, though he notes that it can only last for less than a minute. The two fighters seem evenly matched until Goku transforms again into Super Saiyan Blue and overwhelms Hit. Hit attempts to counter with his Time-Skip, but it proves ineffective. Goku continues to dominate the battle and, in the manga, decides to forfeit the match, feeling that the fight is unfair due to the tournament rules. In the anime, after Goku lands a kick, Hit mimics Goku’s power-up screams, pretending to raise his energy level. Just as Goku prepares to strike, Hit uses his improved Time-Skip to deliver a powerful blow to Goku's abdomen, temporarily knocking him down. Hit asks the referee again if killing is allowed, but the referee once more denies the request. As the referee is about to declare Hit the winner, Goku stands up, stating that he’s fine and ready to use a new technique he had intended to use against Beerus, though it only has a ten percent chance of working. Goku begins powering up, surrounded by a red glow within his Super Saiyan Blue aura. After powering up sufficiently, Goku unveils his trump card: the Kaio-ken technique, and briefly explains it to Hit. The two then collide, with Hit attempting to attack using his Time-Skip ability. However, Goku counters even during the Time-Skip, surprising Hit. Goku explains that his power has now surpassed Hit's ability to manipulate time. Feeling his power diminishing, Goku unleashes a Kamehameha, which puts Hit on the defensive. The energy from both fighters cracks the tournament dome, forcing Whis and Vados to protect the audience and restore the arena. When the smoke clears, Hit reveals that he had further increased his Time-Skip during the Kamehameha and avoided being caught in its blast. Hit retaliates with a flurry of attacks using his Time-Skip, but as Goku appears to be defeated, he powers up once more and lands a blow on Hit. Both fighters are left kneeling, with Goku's body deteriorating from the strain. Goku then requests that Beerus allow killing in the tournament, believing that Hit’s full potential is only unlocked when he’s allowed to kill. Beerus objects, but Champa supports the idea, claiming that Goku suggested it. As the two Gods of Destruction argue, Goku points out their selfishness, and Hit agrees, noting that they treat the fighters like pawns. In rebellion, Goku steps out of the ring, making Hit the winner by default. Monaka, the final contestant for Team Universe 7, enters the ring. Champa immediately starts the final match. Hit notices Monaka shaking nervously. When Monaka attempts an attack, Hit is unbothered, but then dramatically screams and throws himself out of the ring, purposely losing the match. While Goku is congratulated by his friends, Hit remarks that he and Goku are now even and returns to his platform. Hit informs Vados and Champa that he has lost interest in the cube and requests to be taken home. Champa, enraged by Hit’s defiance and deliberate loss, prepares a ki blast to kill him. Champa expresses his frustration with the fighters for embarrassing him and disobeying orders. Cabba tries to reason with Champa but fails, as Champa remains furious with all of Universe 6's fighters. Before Champa can attack, Vados alerts him that Zeno is present in the arena. Zeno's presence scares both Champa and Beerus, sparing the lives of Team Universe 6. Before leaving for their respective universes, Hit and Goku share a handshake, promising to fight again in the future.
