'''[[Majin Buu]] Saga:''' Ginyu appears again when he is picked up by the Great Saiyaman (Gohan in disguise) after an attempt by Sharpner to unmask him. Ginyu is ultimately killed when Kid Buu destroys Earth, but he is later revived alongside the Earth and its citizens. Despite his revival, Ginyu remains trapped in his Namekian frog body. It is unclear why Ginyu was revived when Dende asked Porunga to only revive good victims, but it might be because he was considered an animal at that point and wasn't judged like humans in the afterlife.
