== Trivia == * The Bio-Men share a strong resemblance to Saibamen, but their bluish-gray skin and distinct facial features make them easily distinguishable. Unlike Saibamen, Bio-Men are more verbal but appear to be weaker in terms of raw power. Piccolo kills one Bio-Man in a manner reminiscent of his battle with the last Saibaman used by Nappa on Earth. * It is speculated that Dr. Kochin may have created the Bio-Men after studying Saibaman seeds left behind by Nappa or other Saiyans. Alternatively, they might have been created using similar biotechnology employed by the Saiyans to develop Saibamen. * A scene in The World's Strongest shows Gohan dreaming of Piccolo shielding him from Nappa's Bomber DX attack. This suggests the movie takes place after the Saiyan invasion of Earth. However, since Goku is not depicted as a Super Saiyan, it implies Piccolo did not die from Nappa's attack, thus eliminating the necessity for the events on Namek. This timeline could have allowed Dr. Kochin to study Saibamen seeds and develop the Bio-Men. * Earthlings, especially scientists like Bulma, have demonstrated the ability to reverse-engineer Saiyan technology, such as repairing Raditz's scouter. Dr. Kochin and Dr. Wheelo's ability to create biotechnology comparable to Saiyan bioengineering is plausible, though their Bio-Men are less advanced than the creations of Dr. Gero, whose androids and Bio-Androids rival Super Saiyans. The Bio-Men, by contrast, struggled against Master Roshi and resorted to taking Bulma hostage, a sign of their limitations stemming from outdated biotechnology (at least 50 years behind Dr. Gero's advancements). * In Dragon Ball Heroes, Tuffle scientist Dr. Lychee and Machine Mutant scientist Dr. Myuu developed their own variants of Bio-Men. Dr. Gero also created red Bio-Men variants and a specialized team of Saibamen known as the Saiba Rangers. * Bio-Men are implied to have an advantage over Saibamen in intelligence and tactics. While Saibamen rely on primitive and brutal methods like acid attacks and self-destruction, Bio-Men can speak, plan, and execute advanced strategies such as taking hostages. This reflects the differing philosophies of their creators: Saiyans use Saibamen as disposable tools for combat and training, whereas Dr. Kochin, a methodical mad scientist, designed Bio-Men to be foot soldiers in his and Dr. Wheelo's plans for world domination.
