Introduction[edit | edit source]

The Character Database employs categories to easily index characters across different fictional characters. However, this leads to the creation of a superfluous category at times, more than often quite similar to a pre-existing category.

To limit the number of double-categories, keep in mind the following conventions when adding categories:

  • Use Title Case for category names, eg: Site Administration instead of Site administration or site administration
  • Add plural of the intended category name, eg: Humans instead of Human
  • If the character is a tool user, add category as [tool name] Users, eg: Sword Users instead of Swordsmen or something else
