Shapeshifting is the power to transform and reshape one's body. Users, often referred to as shapeshifters or metamorphs, can alter their genetic and cellular structures, enabling them to impersonate others or enhance their forms for combat. Those with particularly flexible abilities can manipulate their shapes at will, combining various traits and forming limbs into weapons.

For limited shapeshifting abilities, see the Transformation page.

Possible Uses

  • Partial Change of Appearance: Allows the user to copy features from others or change their age, typically limited to complexion and basic features (e.g., a thin person cannot gain mass to impersonate a healthier individual).
  • Complete Change of Appearance: Enables the user to fully transform into another person, including actual biological age changes, allowing for genuine muscle growth when impersonating a bodybuilder.
  • Partial Transformation: Users can change specific body parts or organs, making them non-human (e.g., transforming hands into swords or skin into steel).
  • Complete Transformation: Allows the user to entirely become another non-human being, such as a beast.
  • Partial Conversion: Enables the user to partially alter their body, like reducing size or changing tissue structure for enhanced strength or elasticity.
  • Full Conversion: Users can completely transform their body, changing its shape, structure, and material composition (e.g., turning into sand or stone). In advanced cases, they can convert their body into energy, providing protection and intangibility.
  • Ideal Transformation: Grants unlimited and absolute change to physical form, allowing the character to transform into anything from a human to a rock, wind, or even celestial objects.
