Duplication is the ability to multiply an object or a person.

Users can duplicate targets instantly and accurately. Some are able to duplicate themselves hundreds of times, others take an object and duplicate it instead. Most users have both abilities, as their clothes are often copied with their bodies. Some also have the ability to remove their copies as quickly as they were created. The biological characteristics are identical, but each copy has had different experiences and can therefore develop its own personality over time. Copies always work together and always have the same mind and the same goals.

Possible Uses[edit | edit source]

Instant Army: An endless and powerful army is immediately available to the user

Distraction: Make a copy run in the opposite direction to deceive a pursuer.

Flood: Copy an item and let it flood an area (like water)

Temporal Copy: Create a copy from the past.

Restrictions[edit | edit source]

Copies can only be created in the immediate vicinity of the user

Creating copies consumes energy, so the number or size of copies may be limited

Infection or damage to a copy can fall back on the user during assimilation

Maintaining copies may require concentration

Pain or struggle can cause copies to become distressed as well

If there are problems with the copying process, copies may suffer physical or mental setbacks

Copies can be weaker than the original
