Petrification

Petrification is the ability to turn someone or something into stone or another inorganic solid material. Petrification of a target can be partial or complete. As a sub-category of Transmutation, it typically renders the target unable to move and may not be considered strictly "alive" anymore, although the ability is usually not outright lethal and may be reversible. This ability overlaps with both Paralysis Inducement and Status Effect Inducement.
