Transformation users are characters who can alter their forms in limited ways, typically through external power-ups (like Mario) or gradual mutations that occur over the course of a storyline (such as Acacia from Toriko). Some transformation users undergo limited or uncontrolled changes, such as the Saiyans from Dragon Ball or werewolves and vampires from folklore.
For characters who can freely and fully reshape their bodies to take on various identities, whether for impersonation or other purposes, they should be classified under the Shapeshifters category instead.
