Marion (Kath and Kim)
Marion is an incompetent marriage/love counsellor with somewhat bizarre methods that appears in Kath & Kim. She was responsible for the marriage and counselling of Kath and Kel, but was later imprisoned.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Series 1[edit | edit source]
In the episode Fat, Kath and Kel meet Marion the marriage counsellor. She explains how over the next few months they'll be meeting regularly. She introduces herself as a single organ player who owns a pet cat named Buck. She speaks in a rather soothing voice.
In The Wedding, Marion acts as the officiant for Kath and Kel's wedding.
Series 2[edit | edit source]
In The Announcement, Kath and Kel seek help for Kath's loss of libido. Marion begins with the Rorschach Inkblot Test, which is unsuccessful. She then tries another approach - nudism. Kath's libido returns after the nudist phase.
Series 3[edit | edit source]
In Cactus Hour, Kath and Kel meet with Marion to discuss the divorce papers. It was her job to check the papers but she missed the fact that Gary didn't sign them. Marion encourages the couple to let out their frustration. She explains to them that they are not legally married and she has no legal accreditation as a marriage celebrant.
In Foxy on the Run, Marion christens Kim and Epponee-Rae.
In 99% Fat Free, Marion appears at Epponnee's wedding (part of the episode is set in the future). Epponnee-Rae tells Kim that her marriage is over (O-V-A-H). Marion asks what the problem is and offers her assistance. Epponnee says, in a rude tone, that she has done enough. Marion asks Kath and Kel if she could take off her clothes, to which Kath says no.

- She has written several books on marriage including: "Forever Faithful", "Show me your Ring", "Sex in Marriage" and "Position, Position, Position".
