Sand Manipulation

Sand manipulation is the ability to control and manipulate sand, a naturally occurring sedimentary material composed of finely divided rock and mineral particles ranging from 0.0625 millimeters to 2 millimeters in diameter. Users can create, shape, and manipulate sand of various types and compositions.
Possible Uses:
- Creating or increasing amounts of sand of any grain size or shape (rough, smooth, dust-like, coarse)
- Shaping, compressing, and manipulating sand
- Generating pits of quicksand
- Burrowing or tunneling through sand
- Moving, lifting, or solidifying sand for offensive, defensive, or utility purposes
- Flight using levitating piles of sand
- Surfing by riding waves of sand
- Creating sand constructs such as walls, weapons, etc.
Limitations:
- May be unable to create sand and limited to manipulating existing sources
- Effectiveness in distance, mass, precision, etc., depends on user knowledge, skill, and strength
- Sand manipulation may be hindered by water or blood manipulation, which can increase sand density
- Vulnerable to fire manipulation, which can melt sand into glass
- Susceptible to ice manipulation or freezing, which can solidify sand
- Mixing sand with powders of higher density (e.g., iron or gold dust) can weigh it down and reduce manipulability
