==== Just Before Explosion ====
Right before Max Dillon, now known as Electro, was about to explode from being overloaded with energy during his final battle against Spider-Man, he was suddenly pulled from his timeline. This occurred as a result of a botched magic spell cast by Doctor Strange in an alternate universe, specifically the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The spell was intended to make everyone forget that Peter Parker was Spider-Man, but it inadvertently almost brought countless individuals from the Multiverse who knew Spider-Man's identity into the MCU. While Doctor Strange managed to contain the spell, a few individuals, including an alternate version of Max Dillon, were pulled into the MCU.

==== Capture of Electro ====
Upon arriving in the MCU during the year 2024, Electro, who was attempting to absorb electricity from power lines, caught the attention of this universe's Spider-Man. When Spider-Man questioned if Electro was from another universe, Electro did not respond. As Spider-Man attempted to capture him using magic webs from his Web-Shooters, Electro jolted awake and retaliated by blasting yellow bolts of electricity at the web-slinger.

In the ensuing battle, Electro charged at Spider-Man with another electric bolt, only to be blocked by Sandman, who appeared as a wall of sand to protect Spider-Man. This Sandman was from yet another alternate universe (the Raimi universe). Spider-Man and Sandman worked together to neutralize Electro, with Sandman transforming into a sand typhoon to swirl around Electro while Spider-Man severed power lines to weaken him.

As Electro's power diminished, his body began to grow dimmer, and eventually, he fell to the ground in his human form. Upon standing up, Electro realized that he had regained a physical body, though it was slightly different due to the energy disparity between his universe and the new one. Spider-Man and Sandman approached him, with Spider-Man explaining that they were in a different universe. Electro admitted that he could feel the difference in the electricity and that he liked it, his eyes flashing with power.

Sandman tried to calm Electro down, while Spider-Man took responsibility for Electro's presence in the new universe. Electro, confused, asked if Spider-Man meant the universe or the woods they were in, noting his dislike for the woods. Spider-Man clarified that he meant the universe. The encounter ended with Electro humorously pointing out that he was naked, prompting Spider-Man to notice and hand him some nearby line worker clothes.
