== Trivia == * In the anime episode "Awakening," Gohan defeats eight Cell Juniors, even though Cell only created seven. This inconsistency does not appear in the original manga or the "Dragon Ball Z Kai" redub. A possible explanation is that one of the Cell Juniors used Tien's Multi-Form technique to split in two. * In the dubbed anime, Cell Juniors are said to have the same strength as Cell himself but with much less durability. This claim is not made in the manga. * The Tri-Beam is the only attack that the Cell Juniors use that Cell himself is never shown using. In the anime, Cell having Tien Shinhan's cells is stated, but this is anime-only. * In Xenoverse 2 (after the 1.09.00 update), Perfect Cell can be customized with the Tri-Beam Super Skill, allowing him to use it, just like the Cell Juniors. The Xenoverse series follows the anime storyline, suggesting that both Cell and the Cell Juniors possess Tien's cells. * The Cell Juniors, Bio-Men, and Saibamen share similarities: they come in groups, are short and about the same height, pose a moderate threat at their introduction, and are easily defeated later. Unlike Bio-Men and Saibamen, however, the Cell Juniors can speak, although rarely. * The Cell Juniors are similar to the Meta-Cooler Corps, in that they are miniature clones or duplicates of the original (Cell and Cooler, respectively). Both are also related to the Frieza Race (the Cell Juniors contain Frieza and King Cold's cells). * All of these groups β Cell Juniors, Bio-Men, Saibamen, and Meta-Cooler Corps β are artificially created lifeforms. The Cell Juniors are the offspring of the Bio-Android Cell, Bio-Men were created by Dr. Wheelo and Dr. Kochin, Saibamen were created by a Saiyan scientist, and the Meta-Cooler Corps are artificial duplicates of Cooler. * The Cell Juniors are considered the strongest of these artificial groups, as they were introduced during the Cell Games. The Meta-Coolers' strength can increase through Rebirth, potentially exceeding the Cell Juniors, but the Cell Juniors have no specific weakness like the Meta-Coolers' Achilles' heel, the Big Gete Star. * The Cell Juniors are also similar to Medamatcha's Medas, which are miniature clones of Medamatcha. In Xenoverse 2, Medamatcha's boss, Lord Slug, expresses interest in acquiring Cell Juniors for his army or in obtaining technology to create Bio-Androids like them. * In the Dragon Ball Super manga, after Earth was destroyed by Kid Buu, the Cell Juniors are shown living on Earth, implying they were no longer evil or perhaps never truly evil, as they were tamed by Android 17. * Android 17's ability to tame the Cell Juniors might be due to a kinship, as 17 was once part of Cell. Alternatively, the Cell Juniors might see Android 17 as a fellow Android. * In several video games, a blue Cell Junior palette swap is used as an alternate version of Cell, including "Super ButΕden 2," the Budokai series, and the Budokai Tenkaichi series. * In Dragon Ball FighterZ, Cell's "Color 02" is essentially a Cell Junior recolor. * In Xenoverse 2, after the 1.09.00 Update, Cell (Perfect) can be color-customized to resemble the Cell Junior color scheme. * In the first Budokai game, Cell's "what-if" form "Cellin" has a similar appearance and moveset to the non-playable Cell Jr., suggesting that the character model for Cell Jr. may have been intended as a playable character.
