== Personality == Future Gohan's personality underwent a significant transformation due to the tragic events that shaped his life. As a child, much like his present counterpart, he lacked the fighting spirit of his father, Goku. He was a shy, gentle-hearted boy, more focused on his studies than on fighting. However, when he witnessed his friends getting hurt, his hidden potential would briefly surface, revealing the power he held within. Gohan's pacifist nature and aversion to fighting were dominant until the death of his father from a heart virus, the invasion of the androids, and the murder of his friends, especially his mentor, Future Piccolo. These events marked a dramatic turning point in his life, leading him down a path of relentless struggle. Thirteen years after the death of the Z Fighters, Gohan matured into a far more serious and aggressive individual compared to his present timeline counterpart, who remained naive, awkward, and more laid-back, especially when adopting his Great Saiyaman persona. Future Gohan, having endured years of battling the androids alone in a desolate world, lost much of his earlier pacifism. He became a warrior driven by a "do or die" mentality, fiercely determined to destroy the androids in revenge for the devastation they caused. Despite this hardened exterior, Gohan retained elements of his former self, especially in moments of peace. He could still be calm and cheerful, much like his father and present counterpart. During these rare moments, Gohan would enjoy life as it was, such as when he advised Trunks not to rush into becoming a Super Saiyan until he was truly ready. His bond with Trunks was incredibly close, with Gohan viewing him almost as a little brother. Although he once shared the same dream as his mainstream counterpart of becoming a scholar, the catastrophic events that unfolded likely prevented him from pursuing this goal. Instead, Gohan dedicated his time to training and strategizing ways to stop the androids. Gohan was also realistic about his chances against the androids, acknowledging the likelihood of his defeat. In this eventuality, he was prepared to entrust the future of Earth to Trunks, recognizing the younger warrior as the last hope for their world.
