== Personality ==
Porunga's personality has both similarities and differences compared to Shenron:

* '''Good-hearted but Temperamental:''' Like Shenron, Porunga is good-hearted but has a temper and can be impatient. He has a sense of humor, as seen when he joked with [[Krillin]], [[Gohan]], and [[Dende]] on Namek, telling them to wish for nothing three times so he could leave if they couldn't decide.
* '''Friendly and Patient:''' Porunga is generally more friendly and patient than Shenron. He demonstrates eagerness to grant wishes, even going out of his way to restore Krillin's clothes as a special service. He shows happiness when [[Tien|Tien Shinhan]] and [[Chiaotzu]] are brought back to life and goes out of his way to return them directly to Earth rather than making them traverse Snake Way again.
* '''Moral Compass:''' Porunga seems morally opposed to killing good people. When asked to bring [[Goku]]'s soul to the Check-In Station in Other World, he refused, as Goku was still alive and this would have killed him. Instead, Porunga informed Goku's allies of his survival. This contrasts with Shenron, who has been more threatening in similar situations.
