=== Staying at Happy Hogan's Condominium === ==== Arrival and Exploration ==== Electro and the other villains were transported to Happy Hogan's condominium inside a F.E.A.S.T. truck by Spider-Man and his Aunt May. While the Lizard stayed behind in the truck, the others entered the apartment. As they made their way through the entrance, Electro caused the security camera footage to glitch as he walked past it, using his powers to turn on the TV, which was broadcasting news about the renovation of the Statue of Liberty. Sensing something powerful, Electro followed Spider-Man into the storage room, where he was introduced to the Stark Industries Fabricator. The Fabricator revealed the Arc Reactor, which immediately caught Electro's attention as his eyes flashed with interest. ==== Contemplation and Reflection ==== Later that night, while Spider-Man and Norman Osborn worked on a Neural Inhibitor Chip for Doctor Octopus, Electro stood by the windows, gazing out at the world. He mused about the possibilities in this new universe and admitted to Sandman that he liked who he had become here. Electro was especially intrigued by the Arc Reactor, seeing it as a source of immense power that could make him "so much more." When Sandman asked why Electro had come along, Electro explained that he was drawn to the potential of this new place. The two villains shared their tragic origins—Electro fell into a vat of electric eels, and Sandman into a supercollider—bonding over their shared experiences of being transformed by scientific accidents. Electro remarked that they needed to be careful where they would "fall." ==== The Cure and Growing Unease ==== Once Spider-Man finished the Neural Inhibitor Chip, he suspended Doctor Octopus in the loft area, where Electro and the others watched anxiously. As the Chip was implanted onto Doctor Octopus's tentacles, the villain passed out, but upon waking, Otto Octavius was cured. Electro observed this with a mix of shock and disappointment, realizing that the situation was becoming real and irreversible. Electro then sat at the kitchen table with Spider-Man, who held out Electro's cure. Spider-Man placed the device on Electro's chest, explaining that when all the indicator lights turned green, it meant that the electricity in his body had been dissipated—though not all of it, as Electro needed some to survive. As the device started to activate, Electro became increasingly uneasy. He checked the indicator lights, with one already flashing green, and expressed his discomfort with the cure to Sandman. Despite Sandman's advice to leave it alone so they could return home, Electro was troubled as more indicators flashed green, signaling the siphoning of his power.
