=== Battle of Liberty Island === ==== Arrival and Confrontation ==== Electro, along with Sandman and the Lizard, went to the Statue of Liberty to confront the MCU's Spider-Man. This Spider-Man was aided by the Spider-Men from Electro's and Lizard's universes and the [[Spider-Man (Raimi)|Raimi]] universe. Upon his arrival, Electro's new enhanced powers, fueled by the Arc Reactor, illuminated him. He demanded that Spider-Man give him the Macchina di Kadavus so he could destroy it, warning that he didn't want to become a murderer but would do what was necessary. When Spider-Man refused, Electro chased him across the battlefield in his attempt to obtain the box. ==== Battle and Resistance ==== During the fight, Electro encountered his universe's Spider-Man, who expressed that he missed him. Electro dismissed this sentiment, accusing his Spider-Man of never truly wanting to help him. Emboldened by the Arc Reactor's power, Electro continued his relentless attack. As the battle intensified, Sandman and Lizard joined the fray. Sandman sought the box while Lizard fought the other Spider-Man. In the chaos, Electro attacked a crane the Spider-Men were on, causing it to collapse and trap Lizard. Sandman retaliated by creating a sandstorm around the Statue of Liberty, with Electro's lightning lighting up the storm. Electro then pursued the MCU's Spider-Man again. Despite the combined efforts of all three Spider-Men to take away the Arc Reactor, Electro easily overpowered them, confidently declaring that they wouldn't succeed. Even when his own Spider-Man attempted to stop him, Electro used his electricity to subdue him, causing him to drop Electro's cure. ==== Cured and Reconciliation ==== As the battle reached its climax, Doctor Octopus arrived and grabbed the two alternate Spider-Men with his tentacles, feigning loyalty to Electro. However, Octavius betrayed him by seizing the Arc Reactor from Electro, revealing his true intentions. Horrified and betrayed, Electro could do nothing as Octavius used the opportunity to implant the cure onto his chest. This act stripped Electro of his powers, reverting him to his human form as Max Dillon. Now cured and back to his original self, Dillon let go of his hostility toward his Spider-Man. When his Spider-Man approached him, a dejected Dillon lamented that he was once again a nobody. Spider-Man reassured him that he was never a nobody, but Dillon remained doubtful. Despite his lingering sadness, Dillon acknowledged that Spider-Man had helped a lot of people, showing a shift in his perspective. ==== Aftermath and Return to His Universe ==== Dillon later witnessed the arrival of the Green Goblin and was saved by Doctor Octopus when a Pumpkin Bomb destroyed the Macchina di Kadavus and caused the Statue of Liberty's shield to fall into the water. After the Green Goblin was defeated and the other villains were cured, Doctor Strange cast the final spell to send all the multiversal visitors back to their original universes. As a consequence, everyone in the MCU would forget the identity of their universe's Spider-Man. Dillon was returned to the moment just before he was about to explode in his original universe, but this time in a branched/alternate timeline. Since he was cured of his powers, it is likely he avoided being struck by the immense load of electricity that originally led to his demise. In this new timeline, Dillon could potentially have a new fate, possibly aiding Spider-Man against his own Green Goblin and helping save Gwen Stacy, given the rapport he seemed to have developed with his Spider-Man during the events at Liberty Island.
