== Biography == === Dragon Ball Z - Cell Saga === The Cell Juniors are created during the Cell Games when Cell seeks to provoke Gohan into unleashing his hidden potential. To do this, he commands the Cell Juniors to attack the Z Fighters, including Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks, Piccolo, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, and Yamcha. Each Cell Junior is incredibly powerful, comparable in strength to Super Saiyan Vegeta and Future Trunks. They overwhelm most of the Z Fighters without exerting their full power: * Two Cell Juniors defeat Tien and Yamcha, with one breaking Yamcha's arm. * Another two overpower Krillin and an exhausted Goku. * Three fight Piccolo, Vegeta, and Future Trunks, causing significant damage and occasionally gaining the upper hand. One is even strong enough to catch Vegeta's Final Flash and throw it aside (this occurs in the anime's filler content). However, when Gohan becomes enraged by the Cell Juniors' assault and Cell's killing of Android 16, he transforms into a Super Saiyan 2, awakening his hidden power. In this form, Gohan effortlessly defeats all of the Cell Juniors with a few blows, shocking the Z Fighters and angering Cell. Before being defeated, one Cell Junior attempts to hold Krillin hostage to deter Gohan, but Gohan's speed in Super Saiyan 2 form allows him to save Krillin and defeat the Cell Junior before it can counterattack. === Interlude and Later Appearances of the Cell Juniors === After seemingly being killed by Gohan during the Cell Games, the Cell Juniors were revealed to have survived by regenerating through their intact nuclei. Later, Android 17 tamed them to protect Monster Island and to refrain from attacking the island's rangers. During the Majin Buu Saga, Super Buu used his Human Extinction Attack to kill nearly all life on Earth, including the Cell Juniors. However, while fighting Kid Buu on the Sacred World of the Kai, Vegeta requested that Dende make a wish to Porunga to restore Earth and the lives of all its good-willed inhabitants. The Cell Juniors were revived, implying that they were considered good-hearted beings after being tamed by Android 17. === Dragon Ball Super - Universe Survival Saga === In the Dragon Ball Super manga, as Android 17 heads to meet Team Universe 7 for the Tournament of Power, he realizes he forgot to inform Goten and Trunks about the presence of the Cell Juniors on Monster Island. Simultaneously, the Cell Juniors encounter Goten and Trunks. When one Cell Junior attacks Trunks, both young Saiyans transform into Super Saiyans, leading to a seven-on-two battle. However, the fight stops when a Cell Junior notices the ranger uniforms worn by Goten and Trunks. The Cell Juniors apologize for the misunderstanding and leave peacefully. === Dragon Ball Online === Cell Juniors have counterparts called Cell-X Juniors, which are the perfect offspring of Cell-X. Unlike the original blue Cell Juniors, they are green. === Dragon Ball Xenoverse === Due to Towa and Mira's interference, a new history emerges where Dark Mr. Satan overpowers the Z Fighters, and Dark Cell with two Dark Cell Juniors defeats Gohan with their version of the Father-Son Kamehameha. The Future Warrior is sent back to fix the timeline, defeating the powerful Dark Cell Juniors and eventually Dark Cell. === Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 === Dark Cell Juniors appear during the Cell Games, and the Future Warrior must defeat them to prevent the deaths of the Z Fighters. Unlike the original timeline, the Cell Juniors stay alive longer, necessitating the Future Warrior's intervention. They also appear in Lord Slug's School Quest "Lesson 2" as practice targets for the Future Warrior to test the Dark Twin Star technique. Gotenks also uses them for training the Future Warrior during the lesson for the Continuous Die Die Missile technique. === Dragon Ball Fusions === In the sub-event "Mini Cell Games," Tekka's Team finds five Cell Juniors in the Timespace Rift. After defeating them, the Cell Juniors become recruitable characters. They are C-Rank fighters classified as Earthlings and capable of regeneration, as seen in the "Bonus Story 3" manga chapter of the Universal Survival Saga. === Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle === Cell Juniors appear as minor enemies in Quest Mode, particularly in Area 2: "The Ultimate Lifeform! - Malicious Android: Cell." They assist Imperfect Cell against Future Trunks and his team. The Cell Juniors continue to appear as minor enemies throughout the game, with a chance to acquire their character cards. === Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission === Ahms gains the ability to create Cell Juniors empowered by Dark Magic after absorbing Super Perfect Cell and 100% Full Power Frieza. Sealas uses these Dark Magic-powered Cell Juniors as henchmen, and Sealas (Fused) also inherits this ability. === Dragon Ball Legends === New Cell can create Cell Juniors and uses them to train participants in the Tournament of Time for the Super Cell Games. These Cell Juniors possess the cells of various fighters like Captain Ginyu, Cabba, Frost, Nappa, and Shallot, giving them traits of the Super Saiyan God subspecies due to Shallot's cells.
