====Frieza Saga====
Recoome and the Ginyu Force were summoned by [[Frieza]] to assist him on Namek. Their mission was to retrieve the Dragon Balls and eliminate any opposition, including [[Vegeta]], [[Krillin]], and [[Gohan]], who were trying to use the Dragon Balls to grant [[Vegeta]] immortality. After arriving on Namek, the Ginyu Force decided who would face which opponent through a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors. Recoome won and chose to fight Vegeta.

In the ensuing battle, [[Vegeta]] attempted several powerful attacks and strategies, but Recoome emerged unscathed, though his Battle Armor was destroyed. Despite [[Vegeta|Vegeta']]<nowiki/>s best efforts, Recoome overpowered him, leaving him severely wounded. Just as Recoome was about to finish off Vegeta with his Eraser Gun, Krillin and Gohan intervened, saving Vegeta from certain death.

Recoome, angered by Krillin's interference, retaliated by severely injuring him with a single kick to the head. He then turned his attention to Gohan, whom he admired for his bravery. However, Recoome ultimately showed no mercy, brutally injuring Gohan by cracking his neck with a powerful kick. As Recoome prepared to finish off the three warriors, [[Goku]] arrived on the battlefield.

Unfazed by Goku's arrival, Recoome mocked him and prepared to unleash his most powerful attack, the Recoome Ultra Fighting Bomber. However, Goku quickly incapacitated Recoome with a single blow to the stomach, leaving him unconscious. Later, after Goku defeated the remaining members of the Ginyu Force, Vegeta killed the unconscious Recoome with a powerful Energy Wave.

Recoome later appeared on [[King Kai]]'s Planet along with the other deceased members of the Ginyu Force (except for Captain Ginyu, who was still alive). There, he encountered [[Tien]] Shinhan, [[Chiaotzu]], and [[Yamcha]]. Despite his previous strength, Recoome was quickly defeated by Yamcha, who had grown much stronger from his training on King Kai's Planet. Yamcha dispatched Recoome using his Ki Blast Thrust technique, sending him and the rest of the Ginyu Force to Hell.
