Earth manipulation is the ability to control elements derived from earth, including rock, metal, and other solid substances. Users can create, shape, and manipulate earth and earthen elements such as minerals, regardless of their state (solid objects like mountains, boulders, sand, dust, dirt, soil, etc.).
Possible Uses:
- Moving solid objects like rocks, boulders, and stones at high speeds
- Digging or excavating
- Aiding or hindering plant growth
- Creating earthquakes, avalanches, mudslides, or quicksand
- Manipulating dirt for rapid travel or flight
- Forming shields from dirt or rock
- Triggering volcanic eruptions and controlling lava or magma
- Enhancing physical attacks by covering hands in solid material
- Breaking mountains or boulders
- Controlling sand, salt, or other minerals found in earth
- Riding boulders or other solid masses for transportation
- Manipulating metal in some cases
- Gaining enhanced abilities in earth-rich environments
- Mimicking stone or rock for camouflage or defense
- Regenerating or recharging energy when buried underground
Limitations:
- May be unable to create earth and limited to manipulating existing sources
- Effectiveness in distance, mass, precision, etc., depends on user knowledge, skill, and strength
- Requires contact with earth in some cases
- Difficulty or impossibility in controlling glass or artificial solids
- Vulnerability to electricity manipulation, which can travel through the ground and disrupt earth manipulation
- Limited control over extraterrestrial elements
- Potential weakness against certain elemental manipulations
