Xeno Vegeta (ベジータ:ゼノ Bejīta: Zeno) is an incarnation of Vegeta (ベジータ Bejīta) from an alternate timeline who becomes a fundamental ally to the Time Patrol when he is recruited as a Time Patroller by the Supreme Kai of Time.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Xeno Vegeta dons a black jumpsuit under white and brown battle armor featuring a tube-like neck strap. He pairs this with white gloves accented by large black cuffs and white boots with black sections and brown toe caps. His armor resembles the gear worn by Mira and other Time Breakers. In "World Mission," this armor serves as his official Time Patrol uniform, provided by Chronoa. During his stint as the Black-Masked Saiyan, he wore a mask with a green ring around the face and the Time Breaker symbol.

In the Dark King Mechikabura Saga, Xeno Vegeta's look includes a blue overcoat layered over his standard Time Patrol battle armor, mirroring Xeno Trunks' attire.

In the "World Mission" game, during the Chapter 3, Sub Chapter 2 opening cutscene, Xeno Vegeta briefly appears in battle armor similar to Bulma's original design, as seen on both his future and main timeline counterparts, before transitioning to the new armor given to him by Chronoa.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Xeno Vegeta shares the same core personality traits as his main timeline counterpart. However, his role as a Time Patroller has made him somewhat more mature and cooperative, especially with Xeno Goku. Although he retains a distaste for fusion, he has occasionally suggested it himself, leading to playful teasing from Xeno Goku.

In "World Mission" and the crossover Story Event in "Dokkan Battle," Xeno Vegeta is depicted as impatient and slightly brusque, especially with Chronoa, though he can show respect (evidenced by his "no offense" comment during their exchange). He is eager to assist Xeno Trunks and tends to dismiss the necessity of the uniforms Chronoa insists they wear, prioritizing action over appearances. Nevertheless, he complies under her authority, motivated by his urgency to join his son in battle. Unlike Xeno Goku, he does not complain about the new battle armor, which closely resembles his usual attire.

Xeno Vegeta is also highly perceptive. After training Great Saiyaman 4, he correctly deduces the boy's Saiyan heritage and his connection to the Son family. His suspicions are confirmed when Beat transforms into a Super Saiyan in response to Broly's attack, which surprises Xeno Goku but not Xeno Vegeta. This perceptiveness is further highlighted after defeating Super Saiyan 4 Broly, when Xeno Vegeta decides to keep his observations about Beat’s potential to himself upon realizing Xeno Goku’s ignorance of Beat’s ancestry.

In the Dark Empire Saga, Xeno Vegeta's impatience is again evident when he disregards Chronoa's directive to pose and insists on proceeding with their mission. This behavior underscores his commitment to his duties as a Time Patroller and his disdain for what he considers frivolous activities. His rivalry with Xeno Goku mirrors that of his main timeline counterpart, and he remains competitive, even while acknowledging the necessity of fusion in critical situations. Though he prefers to avoid fusion, he recognizes its value in dire circumstances, suggesting it during battles against formidable foes like Sealas (Fused) and Janemba.

Xeno Vegeta’s preference for teamwork over fusion is clear when he opts to fight alongside Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Goku and Super Saiyan Beat rather than fusing during their confrontation with SSJ4 Broly. Additionally, like Xeno Goku, he is critical of Xeno Trunks' Great Saiyaman Suit. After joining the Dragon Ball Heroes team, both he and Xeno Goku encourage Xeno Trunks to drop the disguise, seeing it as unnecessary now that the team knows their true identities and affiliations with the Time Patrol.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Background[edit | edit source]

Xeno Vegeta's history closely parallels that of the main timeline Vegeta.

In the manga version of the Dark Empire Saga, Xeno Trunks identifies a Vegeta defeated by Xeno Cell during the Cell Games as a past version of Xeno Vegeta.

Similar to Xeno Goku, Xeno Vegeta did not witness the events of "Dragon Ball Super." As a result, he was unaware of the Super Saiyan Blue transformation until he encountered his main timeline counterpart during the Prison Planet Saga. He also only learned about the Super Saiyan God form during the Dark King Mechikabura Saga

Super Dragon Ball Heroes[edit | edit source]

Dark Empire Saga[edit | edit source]

Like Xeno Goku, Xeno Vegeta was summoned by Chronoa to assist Xeno Trunks with his missions.

During their travels, Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks journey back to Age 767, where Bulma provides them with a device to track the Dark Dragon Balls. This device leads them to the Cell Games arena, where they discover the Z Fighters defeated by Xeno Cell, who has merged with the Two-Star Dark Dragon Ball. Xeno Vegeta swiftly overpowers Xeno Cell and severely damages him with a Final Flash, surprising Xeno Trunks with his immense power. Just as Xeno Vegeta is about to finish off Xeno Cell, he is ambushed by Demon God Gravy. Xeno Trunks catches the injured Vegeta and uses the Potara Earrings given by Chronoa to fuse them into Xeno Vegeks. As Xeno Vegeks battles Gravy, Putine forces Xeno Cell to undergo a Dark Evolution. Momentarily setting aside their fight, Xeno Vegeks and Gravy join forces to eliminate Cell-X. After the battle, Xeno Vegeks defuses, and Chronoa's magic teleports Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks to safety just as Gravy attempts to attack again.

Shortly after, Chronoa calls upon Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks to aid Xeno Goku in fighting the Dark Empire army and Demon God Buu. Recognizing the threat posed by the powerful Xeno Buu, Chronoa hands her Potara earrings to Xeno Goku and a hesitant Xeno Vegeta, resulting in their fusion into Xeno Vegito. Xeno Vegito intervenes in the battle between Xeno Buu and Xeno Trunks, engaging in a fierce fight with Xeno Buu. As they clash, Xeno Vegito's Spirit Sword is blocked by Chamel, who arrives just in time.

After defusing back into Goku and Vegeta, they speak with Chamel, who leads them to Hell, now in turmoil. There, they confront Towa and Shroom. Chamel instructs Goku and Vegeta to focus on Shroom while he deals with Towa. Despite their struggle against Shroom due to his ability to drain their souls, Goku and Vegeta manage to fuse into Super Saiyan Gogeta using the Fusion Dance. The battle with Shroom continues evenly until a space portal opens, forcing the fusion to end. As Goku heads toward the portal, Vegeta holds off Shroom, allowing Goku to escape.

Vegeta continues his fight with Shroom but becomes weakened by the loss of parts of his soul. Just as Shroom is about to strike a finishing blow, Xeno Gotenks appears through a space portal and saves Vegeta. Chronoa, accompanying Gotenks, uses her magic to heal Vegeta but warns him not to overexert himself. Together with the Time Patrol, they enter the Demon Realm to thwart Mechikabura's plan to have his wish granted by Dark Shenron. As Towa's soldiers attack, Chronoa permits Vegeta to transform into Super Saiyan 4 without distorting time in the Demon Realm. With this power, Vegeta, alongside Gotenks and Chamel, easily defeats the soldiers and faces the Demon Gods. In a final effort, Vegeta fuses with Goku to become Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, quickly overpowering their enemies before being transported back to the Time Nest.

Dark King Mechikabura Saga[edit | edit source]

In the game, after Tokitoki accelerates their healing process, Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta rush to the Time Nest upon learning that Demigra has launched an attack. There, they join the Time Patrol in a fierce battle against the Xeno Shadow Dragons, including Xeno Omega Shenron, ultimately securing victory. However, when they confront Demigra himself, he unexpectedly proposes a truce, revealing that Mechikabura has escaped from the Time Labyrinth.

In the manga, Xeno Vegeta and the Time Patrol are commended by Old Kai for their efforts in safeguarding the timelines. Just as they receive this praise, Trunks detects another disturbance. The Time Patrol then heads to Age 790, where they witness Gogeta in combat with Omega Shenron. Upon their arrival, they are ambushed by mind-controlled versions of their present timeline counterparts, friends, and family. Xeno Vegeta faces a difficult moment when he is confronted by his controlled wife and son. As Towa and Dabura enter the scene in their new, more powerful Demon God forms, Dabura demonstrates his overwhelming power, leaving Vegeta astonished. Shortly thereafter, Demigra, accompanied by his allies Chamel and Robelu, arrives. Robelu urges Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta to fuse. Though Goku is initially doubtful, Vegeta surprisingly agrees, recognizing the threat posed by Dabura's power. They fuse into Xeno Gogeta and later separate when Chamel teleports everyone to Demigra's lair. The Six Hell Gates: Chamel informs the Time Patrol about the six Hell Gates, each guarded by a Demon God who maintains a barrier to Mechikabura's Palace. To advance, all these Demon Gods must be defeated. Vegeta heads to the yellow gate where he encounters Gravy, who taunts him about their previous encounter. However, Vegeta, now at full power, confidently tells Gravy that he will defeat him and swiftly does so off-panel. Upon returning to their hideout, Vegeta is briefly frozen by a mind-controlled Chronoa and later struck by a surge of dark energy from Mechikabura, leaving him severely injured and unable to continue fighting. With Xeno Trunks as the last one standing, Vegeta and the other Saiyans channel their energy into him. This unexpected act transforms Xeno Trunks into a Super Saiyan God, equipping him for the battle at the Time Nest.

Final Battle Against Mechikabura: After recovering, Xeno Vegeta and the rest of the Time Patrol travel through a rift to the devastated Time Nest to support Xeno Trunks and Chronoa in their final confrontation with Mechikabura. Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta fuse into Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Vegito using Old Kai's Potara earrings, giving Chronoa enough time to recharge the Key Sword. Xeno Trunks then uses the Key Sword to deliver the decisive blow, sealing Mechikabura in an eternal labyrinth. Following the battle, Tokitoki restores the Time Nest to its original state. Xeno Vegito defuses, and everyone celebrates their hard-earned victory.

Prison Planet Saga[edit | edit source]

Xeno Vegeta, along with Xeno Goku, later appears to destroy Fu's laboratory. They then rush to the battlefield to save Goku from the evil Saiyan, Cumber. On Vegeta's suggestion, they fuse into Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Vegito and overpower Super Saiyan 3 Cumber. After their fusion ends, Fu arrives and accuses them of destroying his lab and breaking the seal around the Prison Planet. As Fu powers up into his Super Fu form, Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta declare their mission as Time Patrollers to capture him and prepare for battle.

Despite their efforts, the battle turns against them until Cumber returns to the battlefield. He hurls a massive energy blast at them, forcing them back. Just as they are about to be overwhelmed, Goku awakens in his Perfected Ultra Instinct state and deflects the blast. Using Instant Transmission, Xeno Goku then teleports Xeno Vegeta, Future Trunks, and Future Mai away from the collapsing planet, ensuring their safety.

Universal Conflict Saga[edit | edit source]

In the anime, after the events on Beerus' Planet, Xeno Vegeta bids farewell and, together with Xeno Goku, teleports away.

Universe Creation Saga[edit | edit source]

Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta arrive on Earth just in time to interrupt the battle between Goku, Vegeta, and Xeno Trunks against Beerus. They explain that their fight is futile, pointing to the looming Universe Tree in the sky. They share that they have been briefed by Chronoa on the situation, which leads Beerus to realize that they are from another dimension.

When Fu appears and reveals his plan to create a new universe, he quickly vanishes again. Determined to investigate further, Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta head to Hell, where they encounter the enigmatic Dr. W. During their confrontation, Dr. W analyzes the Saiyan duo and attacks with a vanishing energy strike that reappears behind them, hitting them in the back. Dismissing it as a cheap trick, Xeno Vegeta transforms into Super Saiyan 3 and charges forward, only to miss and be knocked into the lava by another attack. Re-emerging from the lava, he joins Xeno Goku in launching a barrage of energy blasts at Dr. W, who counters effortlessly and gains the upper hand. Frustrated, the two transform into Super Saiyan 4, with Xeno Goku unleashing a Kamehameha and Xeno Vegeta a Galick Gun. Despite their efforts, their attacks seem ineffective. Dr. W, claiming his analysis is complete, vanishes through a distortion, leaving them puzzled about his intentions.

Later, in another part of Hell, Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta, both in their Super Saiyan 4 forms, engage the resurrected Janemba. Despite their combined efforts, they struggle to land a blow due to Janemba having been programmed with data on their abilities. When Goku and the others arrive in Hell through a time distortion, Xeno Vegeta teams up with Goku, Vegeta, Xeno Goku, Xeno Pan, and Xeno Trunks to launch a combined energy blast at Janemba. However, Janemba withstands the attack unscathed. Even with the arrival of Salsa and Putine, the group fails to gain an advantage.

Salsa then suggests that Xeno Goku replicate a strategy used against the Shadow Dragons. Goku, Vegeta, Xeno Trunks, and Xeno Pan share their energy with Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta. This immense Saiyan power allows them to ascend into the Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker state. In this form, they overpower Janemba and destroy him using the Limit Breaker Double Ultimate Dragon Fist technique.

Following this victory, Xeno Vegeta and the others are transported to the Crack of Time by Putine’s magic. Barely having a moment to observe the Universe Tree, they are forcibly teleported to another location by Towa. There, they find themselves immobilized by Cumber's dark energy, watching helplessly as events unfold in the Crack of Time. Towa reveals that she created Fu and intends for him to become the next Dark King. She extracts a dark energy from their bodies, an energy they unknowingly absorbed after Xeno Trunks defeated Mechikabura. With no further use for them, she expels them through a portal to another location.

New Space-Time War Saga[edit | edit source]

Xeno Vegeta finds himself back in the Crack of Time, where he once again fuses with Xeno Goku to become Xeno Gogeta to battle the empowered Fu. However, the fusion is short-lived, and Fu counters by casting Xeno Vegeta and Vegeta into a dark vortex, effectively preventing further fusions.

Supreme Kai of Time Saga[edit | edit source]

In the anime, Xeno Vegeta makes a brief appearance at the beginning of the Super Space-Time Tournament and is later seen with his fellow Time Patrollers, observing the clash between Xeno Trunks and the Future Warrior in Black.

In the manga, during the tournament, Xeno Vegeta harnesses the power of Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker to confront Dr. Wheelo. Demonstrating the Saiyan's quick adaptability and evolution, he swiftly defeats Wheelo with a decisive kick. Detecting a dark energy emanating from another dimension, both Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Goku become intrigued. They decide to fuse into Xeno Gogeta, breaking through dimensions until they reach the source of the disturbance.

After Demigra's defeat, the tournament continues, and Xeno Vegeta, in his Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker form, battles his counterpart, Vegeta, who is in his Super Saiyan God SS Evolved state. The two engage in a fierce beam struggle, with neither's Final Flash gaining the upper hand.

Demon Invader Saga[edit | edit source]

Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Goku arrive on the Sacred World of the Kai and encounter Baby, who is actually Majin Ozotto in disguise. Deciding to apprehend him, they transform into Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker and attack. Their relentless assault forces Ozotto to revert to his original form, much to their astonishment. Two other Ozotto clones, resembling Shin and Kibito, join the battle and transform into Frieza and Cell, attacking the Saiyans. However, Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Goku quickly overpower and defeat the clones.

Ozotto then extends an invitation to his palace, proposing to fight them at full strength. Upon reaching the palace, Ozotto explains that to save everyone he has absorbed, Xeno Vegeta and the others must each enter one of the five doors before them and defeat a clone of Ozotto within.

World Mission[edit | edit source]

In "World Mission," Xeno Vegeta, like his son Xeno Trunks, is celebrated in Hero Town as a prominent figure, known for his appearances as a playable character in the Super Dragon Ball Heroes game.

Chapter 3, Sub Chapter: "Sealas Arrives!"[edit | edit source]

In the opening cutscene for this sub-chapter, Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time, is responding to an alarming increase in real-world attacks by game-world enemies caused by anomalies known as "the menace." These disturbances are no longer restricted to the game world of Super Dragon Ball Heroes (SDBH) and have begun affecting Hero Town directly. To counter this growing threat, Chronoa decides that Great Saiyaman 3 (Xeno Trunks’ undercover identity, known locally as the Hero Master) and his Dragon Ball Heroes team need additional support from the Time Patrol.

Chronoa recruits Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta from the main timeline of the Xeno World due to their formidable strength. She brings them to the Time Nest and leads them to her house to prepare for their mission. As they get ready, one of the two Saiyans (the dialog box indicates ???, making it unclear who speaks) questions the need for preparation. Chronoa explains that since this is an official Time Patrol mission, they must look the part and wear the appropriate uniforms.

Xeno Vegeta, however, is reluctant, asserting that his standard battle armor is sufficient and that he doesn’t need any "fashion pointers." But Chronoa, exercising her authority as the Supreme Kai of Time and the leader of the Time Patrol, insists that Xeno Vegeta comply. Xeno Goku tries to ease the situation, suggesting that Xeno Vegeta give the uniforms a try. Despite his frustration, Xeno Vegeta begrudgingly agrees, asking for the "accursed garments."

Once they are ready, both Saiyans step out of Chronoa’s house in their official Time Patrol uniforms. Goku comments on the strangeness of wearing something other than his usual Turtle School Gi, to which Chronoa responds that they need to adapt. Before she can continue, Xeno Vegeta, impatient and sarcastic, interrupts, urging them to stop talking and start moving. Chronoa, conceding to his urgency, agrees and they set off for Hero Town. As they depart, Chronoa expresses her hope that Xeno Trunks and his team can hold out until their arrival.
