Invisibility

From The Character Database

Invisibility is the power to render oneself unseen to the naked eye, enabling users to sneak past others or take them by surprise. This ability can be accomplished through various means, which differ from character to character, such as not interacting with light normally, using illusions, or being a ghost or similar entity. Some forms of invisibility may only apply to the user's body, excluding any clothing or equipment. While invisibility can make one undetectable to conventional senses, it may still be ineffective against sufficiently potent Enhanced Senses or Extrasensory Perception.

Possible Uses of Invisibility

  • Sneaking Past Guards: Moving undetected through secure areas.
  • Surprise Attacks: Taking opponents by surprise during combat.
  • Espionage: Gathering information without being seen.
  • Evasion: Avoiding detection and escaping pursuit.

Limitations

  • Partial Invisibility: May only apply to the body, not clothing or equipment.
  • Enhanced Detection: Ineffective against Enhanced Senses or Extrasensory Perception
