Lou Antony Morris (Harry Landis) is English man in his eighties who appears in multiple episodes of the series Friday Night Dinner. He is the girlfriend of Eleanor Buller. He appears in the episodes; "Mr Morris", "Mr Morris Returns" and "The Big Day".

Biography[edit | edit source]

Mr Moris is a selfish, angry, aggressive, arrogant, married man who is dating Eleanor Buller. He sports a trilby hat, a toothbrush moustache, and is obsessed with cleanliness; wiping his hands on the bathroom curtains when there is no hand towel. He is a very bad driver, parking his battered old car right up against the front doorstep, smashing an indicator.

He first appears in series two's "Mr Morris" where he comes comes to the family's Friday night dinner which is the first time meeting the family. Mr Morris and Eleanor end up arriving late to the dinner and he ends up crashing his car into the family's home which breaks his car which he blaims on the family. He goes on to make a further bad impression on the family by behaving badly like drying his hand, demanding champain to drink and forcing Adam to pay for his purchases.

During the family meal he keeps asking people to guess things like the number of employees he had at his button factory and the number of heart attack hes suffered. He gets a phone call which is when the family find out that he is married to an 92 year old and him and Eleanor are having an affair. He then forces Adam and Jonny to come with him to buy a replacement part for his car which he buys along side a box of comdom and forces Adam to pay for them. When he gets back to the house he decides that he needs a rest and goes upstairs and lies on the bed without asking. After a while Jackie sends the boys upstairs to check on him and they spot the Comdoms which they try to steal them but he wakes up and accuses Adam of either stealing from him or trying to molest him. He attemps to storm out the house and Adam pretends to push him down the stairs and acidentally does so. He wakes up from the fall and is okay but starts trying to fight verious members of the family who run out house to escape him, locking him inside.

Mr Morris Returns[edit | edit source]

Lou next apears in "Mr Morris Returns" where the family are stunned when Grandma announces she's back with Mr Morris and has invited him over for dinner. Grandma assures the family that his terrible temper is now under control. "Whenever he gets angry, he just sits in his car and screams."

  • He was married to his other significant other [his wife] for 60 years until she died at the age of 94
  • He got engaged to Nellie Buller on July 4th 2014.
  • He was about to tie the knot on July 25th 2014, but Nellie pretended to have a heart attack, because she didn’t want to marry him.
  • His intentions towards Nellie were sexually satisfactory, by him buying condoms to use on her.
  • He worked for a button sewing company for the armed forces.
  • He had 11 people working for him in London and the South East, and not one of them never slandered him.
  • He doesn't like Adam and Jonny.
