Sleep Manipulation is the ability to control various aspects of sleep. Users can induce sleep in others or themselves, manipulate sleep patterns, and affect a person's subconscious state while they are asleep. This power can be an incapacitating technique and, in some cases, negate conventional durability.

Possible Uses:

  • Sleep Inducement: Making an opponent fall asleep against their will through spells, poisons, or other methods, preventing them from taking action and making them more vulnerable to attacks.
  • Insomnia Inducement: Preventing an opponent from sleeping, which can weaken and eventually kill life forms that require sleep.
  • Self Sleep Inducement: Allowing the user to put themselves to sleep instantly to replenish health and energy.
  • Prolonged Sleep: Increasing the duration of sleep to incapacitate a person for extended periods.
  • Subconscious Effect: Controlling what goes on in an opponent's mind while they are sleeping, often overlapping with Dream Manipulation.
  • Complete Dormancy: Putting any life form, non-organic machine, or inanimate object into a state of inactivity that can be referred to as "sleep."

Limitations:

  • May not work on those resistant to sleep-based attacks.
  • Some users may have a limitation on how long they can keep someone asleep.
  • Users who put themselves to sleep may not be able to wake up at will.
  • Lesser users may not be able to make an opponent sleep if they don't need to or are incapable of sleeping.
  • Certain forms of sleep manipulation may be limited in frequency.
