Vegito is the Potara Fusion of Goku and Vegeta, initially created to battle Majin Buu and later Fusion Zamasu. In the series Super Dragon Ball Heroes, Vegito reappears to face Cumber in the Universe Mission and Fu in the Big Bang Mission. Despite the inherent strength of all Potara fusions, Vegito's power stands out as extraordinary. This is due to the intense rivalry between Goku and Vegeta, which amplifies his already immense strength to unparalleled levels.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Vegito is a fusion of both Goku and Vegeta's characteristics, with some unique features. He shares Goku's body type but has dark brown to reddish-brown hair. Vegito's facial features include Goku's softer jawline and Vegeta's sharper eyes. His hairstyle combines elements of both characters: his upper hair stands firmly upwards like Vegeta's, while maintaining Goku's hairline with two bangs forming a downward "V" shape. When transforming into Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan Blue, Vegito's hair retains its shape.

He wears two yellow Potara earrings due to the Potara fusion. Vegito's outfit is a color-swapped version of Goku's Turtle School Uniform, with a blue top and pants, an orange undershirt, and a blue belt. He also wears Vegeta's white gloves and boots. In the Prison Planet Saga of Super Dragon Ball Heroes, Vegito's attire changed to reflect Goku and Vegeta's different clothing at the time of their fusion, featuring a black dogi and pants, an orange t-shirt, a blue obi tied at his waist, and Vegeta's gloves and boots. During the Universe Creation Saga, Vegito reverted to his Buu Saga outfit.

Prison Planet Saga[edit | edit source]

In the Prison Planet Saga, Goku and Vegeta find themselves struggling against the immensely powerful Cumber. As Cumber powers up further, shedding his Restraint Jacket, Future Mai provides the Potara earrings, allowing the two Saiyans to fuse into Vegito.

Anime Version: As Vegito battles Cumber, the evil Saiyan is impressed to find a worthy opponent. After being sent crashing into a cliffside by Cumber, Vegito powers up to Super Saiyan Blue and uses the Kaio-ken technique to fight on equal footing. Cumber then unleashes a massive energy blast, which Vegito counters with the Final Kamehameha. The intense clash results in the blasts canceling each other out, causing a section of the chain restraining Cumber to break. Cumber then transforms into a Golden Great Ape by launching a Power Ball into the sky. As he fires another blast at Vegito, the fusion dissipates back into Goku and Vegeta, having exhausted all their energy.

Manga Version: In the manga, Super Saiyan Blue Vegito takes on Cumber, with the battle intensifying as Cumber transforms into a Super Saiyan. After a while, both fighters decide to get serious: Vegito activates Kaio-ken while Cumber transforms into a Golden Great Ape. Realizing that the Kaio-ken's power boost is temporary, Vegito rushes to defeat Cumber, leading to a fierce beam struggle. However, Vegito's energy runs out, causing him to split back into Goku and Vegeta.

Universe Creation Saga[edit | edit source]

With the Universe Tree threatening to destroy everything, Goku and Vegeta fuse into Vegito to confront Fu. As they merge, Fu attacks with Cumber's dark energy, but Vegito's Saiyan Shield activates, repelling the evil Ki. Vegito powers up to Super Saiyan Blue and takes on Fu, showing a clear advantage even after Fu transforms into Super Fu. While fighting, Vegito observes through Fu's monitors as the Universe Tree starts to collapse.

The battle takes a turn when Fu absorbs the dark element of the Dark King, significantly increasing his power. Despite this boost, Vegito Blue holds his own against Fu, even after dropping his Saiyan Shield since Fu stops using Cumber's energy. The fight is interrupted by the arrival of Xeno Vegito, Demigra, and Robelu. Vegito then watches his Xeno counterpart engage Fu.

Trapped in Fu's special room, Vegito witnesses Xeno Vegito battling the revived Broly. When Broly attains the Limit Breaker form, Vegito intervenes, blocking an attack and teaming up with Xeno Vegito against the berserk Saiyan. Despite their efforts, they struggle against Broly. As the Universe Tree is enveloped in light, Vegito grapples Broly and pulls him into the expanding light, freeing Xeno Vegito to deal with Fu.

In Fu's new universe, Vegito defuses back into Goku and Vegeta, and they are subsequently separated.

Manga Version: In the manga, both Vegito and Xeno Vegito, with Vegito using Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken, team up to cut down the Universe Tree with their energy blades. After the defusion back into Goku and Vegeta, Demigra entangles Fu with his chains of light, attempting to seal him in a Time Labyrinth. However, in a final act, Fu reveals that the Saiyans were too late and creates his Pseudo Universe, forcing everyone in the Crack of Time to escape the sudden blinding light.

Supreme Kai of Time Saga[edit | edit source]

Vegito returns to battle the Dark King Demigra when Vegeta joins Goku, Aeos, and Chronoa in their fight against the Dark King. As Xeno Gogeta engages Dark Broly, Aeos uses her magic to delay Demigra, allowing Chronoa to offer her Potara earrings to Goku and Vegeta. The two Saiyans fuse into Vegito Blue, who uses his Savage Strike to prevent Demigra from attacking Aeos. Declaring his intent to pummel Demigra, Vegito Blue dominates the battle, exploiting the Potara fusion's ability to amplify the Saiyans' powers. Vegito blasts Demigra with a powerful Final Kamehameha, seemingly defeating him before the fusion timer expires. However, Demigra survives the blast, unlocking more of the Dark Factor in retaliation.

Manga Version: In the manga, Chronoa suggests Vegeta fuse with Goku using her Potara earrings. Initially refusing, Vegeta crushes the earring, preferring to rely on his own strength against Demigra. Despite his determination, Vegeta is overpowered. Chronoa, however, forces the fusion by reversing the damage to the earring and placing it on Vegeta while Aeos freezes time. Although Vegeta is understandably annoyed, the fusion proceeds with the unconscious Goku, resulting in Vegito's return.

Vegito Blue swiftly overwhelms Demigra, even as the Dark King powers up in response. Using his Spirit Blaster, Vegito slices through Demigra's massive dark fist, inflicting significant damage. Demigra realizes he survived the attack and smirks, revealing his plan to outlast fused opponents by concentrating the Dark Factor at specific points within his body to better defend against attacks.

Demigra first blocks Vegito's strikes with his arms and then with his face as Vegito breaks through his defenses. Noticing Demigra's strategy of focusing his defenses, Vegito unleashes a relentless flurry with his Spirit Sword, inflicting severe slashes that cause Demigra's arms to crumble. Despite this, Vegito's fusion time ends, much to Demigra's relief. However, Goku and Vegeta remain confident that Demigra can be defeated due to the damage he sustained.

In response, Demigra transforms into his Time Power Unleashed form and launches a devastating Chaotic Gigantes attack. Goku and Vegeta counter by transforming and combining their powers into a Galick Kamehameha to meet Demigra's onslaught.

Demon Invader Saga[edit | edit source]

After delving into the inner depths of Ozotto's Palace, Goku and Vegeta once again fuse into Vegito to confront Majin Ozotto, who had just reabsorbed Gohan. Vegito, in his Super Saiyan Blue form and later using Blue Kaio-ken, swiftly overpowers Ozotto. He ultimately uses a Spirit Blade to slice Ozotto off of Gohan, liberating him from the villain's grip.

Manga Version: In the manga, Vegito directly attacks Ozotto with his Spirit Sword, slicing the fiend in two. However, Ozotto quickly regenerates his body, much to his delight, due to the Ultimate form inherited from the absorbed Gohan. Vegito notes that Ozotto’s armored body is preventing the Spirit Sword from causing significant damage, similar to how Demigra used the Dark Factor. Adapting his approach, Vegito dropkicks Ozotto away and follows up with a Final Flash. Ozotto evades the attack by liquefying his body and reforming nearby. Observing that Vegito has been careful not to harm his captive allies, Ozotto pressures Vegito with his Ignite Vision, forcing the fusion to deflect the explosive attacks to protect the Dragon Team.

Ozotto then attempts to absorb Vegito. However, similar to his encounter with Buu, Vegito activates a Saiyan Shield to halt Ozotto’s advance. Declaring his intention to show Ozotto the divine power he seeks to surpass, Vegito transforms into Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken and swiftly shreds Ozotto off of Gohan with a single strike before defusing back into Goku and Vegeta.
