Gure (グレ) is an alien and the wife of Vegeta's estranged brother, Tarble.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Gure is a small alien with black eyes and two nostrils. She typically wears a purple and white top, white gloves, and purple footwear.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Gure is polite and gentle, much like her husband, Tarble. She introduces herself to those close to her husband, such as Vegeta, despite his estrangement from Tarble. She shows concern for others, as demonstrated when she encourages Trunks to prepare for the arrival of Abo and Kado, indicating her care for the well-being of those around her. Gure generally appears happy and is often seen smiling, though she does show fear when she and Tarble are in danger, such as when Abo and Kado threaten them again. Despite her gentle demeanor, Gure doesn't speak much. She also displays surprise when witnessing the enormous appetites of Goku and Vegeta, despite being married to a Saiyan.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Background[edit | edit source]

Gure was born on a remote planet. At some point, Tarble was exiled to her planet by King Vegeta, where he met Gure, and the two eventually married.

Dragon Ball Z: Yo Son Goku and His Friends Return![edit | edit source]

Two years after Kid Buu's defeat, Gure and Tarble come to Earth seeking Vegeta's help to defeat Abo and Kado, two of Frieza's henchmen who have grown as powerful as their former master and are terrorizing Tarble's home. Abo and Kado follow them to Earth using Attack Balls, where Trunks and Goten confront the pair.

Gure does not speak much, aside from greeting Vegeta as her brother-in-law after being introduced by Tarble and wishing Trunks good luck against the incoming enemies. During Aka's Super Wahaha no Ha attack, she is protected by Tarble as Gotenks deflects the blasts. She is last seen surprised by Goku and Vegeta's large appetites. After the defeat of Abo and Kado, Gure and Tarble return home.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Her name is a pun on the Japanese word for grape, gureepu.
  • Gure resembles the Tech-Tech aliens, who first appeared in Nekomajin and later in the 2007 Dr. Slump special "Dr. Mashirito and Abale-chan" and in *Oishii Shima no Ū-sama," although the aliens in those appearances were hostile.
