Category:Anti-Heroes
From The Character Database
Antiheroes (sometimes spelled as anti-hero) or antiheroines are characters that, while still heroic, lack conventional heroic traits and motivations, often instead doing heroic things out of self-interest. While the conventional antihero is often amoral and violent, antiheroes may also be more soft-spoken, as long as they still go against the traditional heroic mold. For example, the classical antihero is often doubtful of their own abilities, worthless in combat, or cowardly. The more popular antiheroes generally range from amoral rogues to dark, gritty, and violent figures.
Their corresponding category is Anti-villains.
