Appearance[edit | edit source]

Pamput is a tall, athletic, and youthful man with dark skin and a distinct afro hairstyle. He has large oval eyes and exudes confidence. During fights, he dons bright green Muay Thai shorts with red trim, a red dressing gown with cream lining (removed before battle), and white hand and foot bandages. Outside of combat, he wears a duck egg blue tracksuit for training and a formal gray suit with a red tie and sunglasses for public appearances.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Pamput is a proud and skilled fighter who takes immense pride in his martial arts abilities. Despite his fame, he feels disheartened that his fans admire him more for his celebrity status than his fighting prowess. His frustration grows from the lack of challenging opponents, as he yearns for battles that truly test his skills.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Dragon Ball[edit | edit source]

Tien Shinhan Saga[edit | edit source]

Pamput, in addition to being a movie star, is the egotistical champion of two global martial arts tournaments outside the World Martial Arts Tournament. Confident in his abilities, he sets his sights on claiming victory in the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament. However, his ambitions are cut short when he faces Goku in the fourth match of the first round.

Pamput makes a dramatic entrance, showcasing his charisma. During the fight, he attempts to intimidate Goku by demonstrating his speed and strength, even shattering an arena wall with an elbow strike. However, Goku easily evades his attacks and counters with a swift three-hit combo to Pamput's chest, knocking him out instantly. The World Tournament Announcer marvels at what appeared to be a single-punch knockout, solidifying Goku's victory. Pamput is later mentioned during the finals as part of the announcer's commentary.

King Piccolo Saga[edit | edit source]

Pamput is shown fighting another opponent when Tambourine arrives with the intent to kill him. Pamput dismisses Tambourine's threat, laughing at the idea that he could be defeated. However, Tambourine lands a fatal kick to Pamput's face, killing him instantly. Pamput is later resurrected by the Dragon Balls along with the other victims of King Piccolo and his offspring.

This reference may have been included due to Akira Toriyama's admiration for Star Wars.
  • Pamput’s appearance bears some resemblance to Mr. Shu, though Pamput has darker skin and lacks a mustache.
  • Pamput shares similarities with Mr. Satan, as both are celebrity martial arts champions who are formidable by normal human standards but pale in comparison to fighters like Goku and his allies.
  • Despite being one of King Piccolo's victims, Pamput is not shown being resurrected in either the manga or the anime after Shenron restores those killed by Piccolo and his offspring.
