Bido (ビドー Bidō), is Hera a Clansman and one of Bojack's four Galaxy Soldiers in Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Bido (ビドー Bidō), a member of Bojack's Galaxy Soldiers, shares the distinct traits of his race, featuring teal-colored skin and orange hair styled into a mohawk. He also has an orange horseshoe mustache, adding to his fierce appearance.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Bido is as cruel and ruthless as the rest of his team. A notable instance of his brutality is when he strangled Doskoi to death and then smirked at the camera, shocking the tournament's audience. In battle, he often collaborates with Bujin, attacking enemies that Bujin has immobilized with his needles of energy.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Bojack Unbound:[edit | edit source]

Bido infiltrates the Intergalactic Tournament, where he mercilessly kills Doskoi by strangling him in front of an unseen camera, horrifying the audience. Later, he fights alongside Bujin and Zangya against Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and Gohan. However, when Gohan transforms into Super Saiyan 2, Bido is effortlessly defeated—Gohan breaks Bido in half with a single punch, vaporizing him on impact.

Fusion Reborn:[edit | edit source]

Bido makes a brief appearance as one of the Zombies attacking Mr. Satan. He retains his original hairstyle and clothing, albeit with different coloring.

Supreme Kai of Time Saga:[edit | edit source]

In this saga, Bido appears in his Bojack Unbound incarnation as a competitor in the Super Space-Time Tournament, along with his fellow Galaxy Soldiers. In the manga, he battles Dodoria in a forest. However, after his team fails to advance to the second round of the tournament, Bido and his space-time are erased.

  • Finger Beam – Zangya, Bido, and Bujin used this on Gohan in Bojack Unbound, right before Piccolo's arrival.
  • Brave Gatling – Red beams of ki shot from Bido's ten fingers. Used during the first round of his battle with Zangya and Bujin against Gohan.
  • Underground Energy Ball – Bido launches an energy ball that travels through the ground before creating a massive explosion where the opponent is.
  • Psycho Thread – Energy needles capable of ensnaring victims, and at the behest of their struggling, begins to drain energy from their body.

  • Collaboration: Bido frequently works with Bujin in battle, capitalizing on Bujin's ability to trap foes, making them easy targets for Bido.
  • Name Origin: Bido's name comes from the Japanese word "hidō," which means "unjust." When combined with words like "gokuaku" (extremely evil) and "zangyaku" (cruelty), it is often pronounced "bidō," aligning with the naming pattern of his comrades Kogu (Japanese name: Gokua) and Zangya.
  • Unique Feat as a Henchman: Bido is one of the few henchmen in a Dragon Ball Z film to kill a character. Notably, he is the only henchman to kill a named character, Doskoi, during the events of Bojack Unbound.
