Aeos, (アイオス Aiosu, lit. "Agios") the former Supreme Kai of Time, is the leader of the Warriors in Black and the initial main antagonist of the Supreme Kai of Time Saga. She also serves as the supervisor of the Super Space-Time Tournament.
Concept and Creation[edit | edit source]
Aeos’ design is inspired by an early concept for Chronoa (the current Supreme Kai of Time), featuring blue skin. However, while Chronoa's design includes pink hair, Aeos has aquamarine hair and wears clothing with a color scheme of blue, gold, and red.
Her name is likely derived from the Greek word "Agios," which translates to "saint" or "blessed."
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Aeos is short and petite with a youthful appearance. She has pale teal skin and aquamarine hair. She wears a pair of blue-colored Potara earrings and robes that resemble those worn by Supreme Kais, albeit more casually designed and distinctly feminine.
Her outfit includes white gloves, high-heeled boots, and a gold hat adorned with miniature clock symbols. In the game art, she is depicted without eyebrows, though they are present in the anime and manga.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Aeos is committed to maintaining balance above all else. She believes in the existence of a single timeline and is critical of her successor, Chronoa, for allowing multiple timelines that distort space-time.
She exhibits a somewhat disdainful attitude toward mortals, disregarding their standards when initiating her plans. Despite her stern exterior, Aeos has moments of lightheartedness, such as laughing at Yamcha's antics or finding humor in Goku's declaration during Ultra Instinct Sign.
Aeos seems to have conflicted motives; while her idea of the Super Space-Time Tournament might be viewed as a twisted means to shape history, there could be good intentions behind her actions, similar to the Tournament of Power.
Her attitude towards mortals softens after the arrival of Dark King Demigra, leading her to collaborate with Chronoa, Xeno Gogeta, and Vegito to protect all of space-time, and reconsider her stance on multiple timelines.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Background[edit | edit source]
Aeos was once the Supreme Kai of Time, the predecessor of Chronoa. During her tenure, she mentored both Chronoa and Mechikabura as potential successors, with Chronoa ultimately assuming the role.
Super Dragon Ball Heroes[edit | edit source]
New Space-Time War Saga:[edit | edit source]
Aeos makes her first appearance speaking with the Warrior in Black, asking if he managed to save his son. She then informs him and the other Warriors in Black that her time has come.
Supreme Kai of Time Saga:[edit | edit source]
Aeos confronts Chronoa in the Time Vault, accusing her of mishandling the numerous timelines and declaring that she will take control of the Scrolls of Eternity. As Chronoa prepares to resist, Aeos’ Warriors in Black prevent her from acting, and Aeos announces the start of the Super Space-Time Tournament, assembling warriors from various timelines to fight for their existence.
During the tournament, Aeos observes the unfolding events, reflecting on the overflow of new timelines and her decision to reclaim the role of Supreme Kai of Time from Chronoa. After the first round, she intervenes in a battle between Xeno Trunks and the Future Warrior in Black, using time manipulation to stop their attacks and sending them away through a space-time distortion.
In the manga, Aeos reveals the true purpose of the Super Space-Time Tournament to Team 1, stating it evaluates each individual's fighting ability and luck from various points in history, with the intent of selecting a "True History." She incinerates the losing teams' Scrolls of Eternity and explains her motives to the winning teams, stating that timelines must be streamlined to prevent further distortions.
Xeno Trunks, angered by Aeos' disregard for the erased timelines, attacks her, but she effortlessly makes him vanish with a snap of her fingers. Aeos reminds everyone of her status as the former Supreme Kai of Time, intending to reclaim her title once the singular history is decided. Her attitude leads to multiple teams rebelling against her, but Aeos has her Warriors in Black intercept their attacks and makes the rebels disappear, sending them to the next round under the guise of erasure.
Yamcha, left alone and panicked, begs Aeos not to erase him, inadvertently making her laugh. She reveals that she merely transported the others to the next round and encourages Yamcha to do his best to survive before teleporting him as well.
During the second round, Chronoa approaches Aeos, requesting the return of the Time Scrolls. Aeos challenges Chronoa to take them from her and, with a flick of her fingers, sends Chronoa and herself outside, preparing for a confrontation.
Aeos warns Chronoa that she will show no mercy if she tries to obstruct her plans and then transforms into her Time Power Unleashed state. Chronoa responds by also transforming into the Time Power Unleashed state but clarifies that she wishes to talk rather than fight. Aeos dismisses the conversation as futile and immediately attacks Chronoa with an energy blast. Although Chronoa manages to defend herself, she tries to explain that she understands the dangers of increasing timelines but chooses to trust in the potential they hold. Despite her efforts, Aeos overpowers Chronoa and knocks her to the ground.
Goku arrives with the Time Fairy and checks on the injured Chronoa. He then thanks Aeos for hosting the tournament, which allowed him to face many strong opponents, but asks her not to erase any timelines. Aeos questions Goku's confidence in winning the tournament, but Goku points out that erasing living beings from other timelines is wrong.
Aeos refuses Goku’s request and attempts to freeze him with her powers. However, Goku swiftly teleports behind her and transforms into his Ultra Instinct Sign state. The two engage in a fierce battle, with Goku pressing the attack to prevent Aeos from using her magic. Aeos tries to overwhelm Goku with a barrage of small energy blasts, but Goku uses Instant Transmission to get in close and fires a Kamehameha at point-blank range. Aeos recognizes the threat Goku poses and vows to eliminate him.
Before she can act, the Time Nest is invaded by the new Dark King, Demigra, who now possesses the Time Scrolls and seeks to rule a new era of fear. Aeos forms a temporary alliance with Goku to confront this new threat.
Despite their efforts, Aeos and Goku are overpowered by Demigra’s enhanced strength, and even the Time Labyrinth cannot contain him. Chronoa telepathically contacts Aeos, asking her to distract Demigra while she enacts a plan. Aeos powers up and tries to slow Demigra using a field that manipulates time and space, but he breaks free. As Demigra prepares to strike Aeos, he is instead hit hard by Super Saiyan Blue Vegito and sent flying. With the Supreme Kais of Time recovering, the battle continues.
Aeos questions Chronoa if allowing the timelines to expand is truly worthwhile, as defeating Demigra may only lead to an even greater threat. Chronoa remains optimistic, believing that the expansion of timelines also brings the possibility of greater hope, and expresses her trust in the Time Patrol and their allies.
Choosing to trust Chronoa, Aeos helps her up, and they shake hands, unleashing a massive burst of energy. This energy transfers to Goku, Future Warrior in Black, and Xeno Bardock, enabling them to unleash their ultimate power and defeat Demigra with a 3 Generations Kamehameha.
With the tournament concluded, Aeos sets off to explore various Space-Times to determine if a single true Space-Time is necessary or if multiple can coexist. She entrusts Chronoa with the responsibility once more but warns that she will return if her beliefs prove incorrect. The two shake hands, having resolved their differences, and Aeos departs with the Warriors in Black.
Demon Invader Saga:[edit | edit source]
Aeos rises from her throne after Majin Ozotto's defeat. She places the last fragment of Ozotto into a container, summons Super Shenron, and has him restore the Space-Time to its previous state before Ozotto's interference.
Powers and Statistics[edit | edit source]

Notable Attacks/Techniques[edit | edit source]
- Telekinesis - A technique that allows the user to manipulate objects and other people with the power of one's mind.
- Time Manipulation - As the former Supreme Kai of Time, Aeos' is capable of manipulating and controlling time.
- Freeze - The special ability to temporarily stop time. Aeos is extremely experienced with using the move, capable of freezing both consciousness and body.
- Time Condemnation - The user powers up the clock-like figure behind them and forms an energy sphere from their index finger, which shoots like a powerful laser-like beam that explodes upon impact.
- Time Trap - A technique Aeos uses by creating temporal portals that she and her opponents can pass through, speeding up the former and slowing down the latter.
- Divination - Aeos covers her eyes in a time symbol shape, allowing her to perceive the future much more easily at the cost of being unable to use any other ability so long as it is active. Goku notes it as being similar to Hearts' ability to read the hearts of opponents and predict their next move.
- Time Rail - The user summons several circular space-time ruptures in the shape of gears to reverse the movements of an attack or person. Used in the manga against Chronoa.
- Time Destruction - Aeos traps her opponent within a clock construct before destroying it, erasing them from spacetime and causing them to disappear. Used in Dragon Ball Heroes.
- Time Cancellation - Aeos can temporarily cancel the effects of time on a selected individual. Used on Xeno Gogeta to allow him to safely tap into his full power for ten minutes.
- Eternal Labyrinth - The user fires an energy sphere of time at their opponent which forms a temporal structure around them. Gears would then form inside the sphere and start spinning until they stop, freezing everything within the structure in place.
- Time Judgment - Chronoa freezes time as she and Aeos move behind their opponents and fire energy clock hands at them, sealing them in an energy like clock that stops time for their mind and body.
- Portal Opening - Aeos can manipulate space-time to create portals to counter attacks by removing them from local time-space. Used to stop the Future Warrior in Black and Xeno Trunks' attacks.
- Reflect - An energy sphere to absorb their opponent's attack and fire it back at them.
