Though the main timeline version of Android 14 was destroyed by Dr. Gero, a parallel world version appears as an antagonist in Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13!.

Akira Toriyama's artwork initially designated this android as Android 15 (人造人間15号 Jinzōningen Jūgo-Gō, "Artificial Human No. 15"), but Toei Animation switched the names of Androids 14 and 15.

Appearance:[edit | edit source]

Android 14 is depicted as a large, muscular man with a look reminiscent of a Native American. He wears a brown brassard and belt, large brown gloves, a long green skirt, and yellow and black boots. His skin is silver, and unlike other androids created by Gero, he has brown eyes instead of blue.

Personality:[edit | edit source]

As a man-made android, Android 14 shows minimal emotion and often maintains a cold, unsmiling expression. In the original Japanese version of the film, he only says "Son Goku" a few times. In the Funimation dub, he has additional lines, such as commenting on Future Trunks' sword attack with, "Little boys shouldn't play with knives."

Biography:[edit | edit source]

Background:[edit | edit source]

Android 14 was created by Dr. Gero before the Cell Saga. Along with Androids 13 and 15, he was close to the final android form but, like his predecessors, had issues and was presumed destroyed by Gero. Although these androids are not featured in the Dragon Ball manga, they are mentioned in the "Androids A-B-C's" section as being nearly complete.

Super Android 13![edit | edit source]

Android 14 is completed alongside Android 15 by Dr. Gero's supercomputer. The two attack West City, where they target Goku's family at a restaurant. After rescuing bystanders, Goku and Future Trunks battle the androids, with the conflict moving to a glacial area, followed by Gohan and Krillin.

While Androids 14 and 15 engage Goku and Trunks, Android 13 arrives and challenges Goku, leaving Trunks to fight 14 and Vegeta to face 15. Android 14 gains the upper hand against Trunks, using the powerful Android Charge 14. Ultimately, Trunks, now a Super Saiyan, destroys Android 14 by slicing him in half with his sword. This battle synchronizes with Android 15’s destruction by Super Saiyan Vegeta. Despite their deaths, Androids 14 and 15's components are absorbed by Android 13, leading to his transformation into Super Android 13.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes:[edit | edit source]

Supreme Kai of Time Saga:[edit | edit source]

Android 14's Super Android 13 version competes in the Super Space-Time Tournament, along with Androids 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19. His team fails to advance to the second round, resulting in Android 14 and his space-time being erased.

Demon Invader Saga:[edit | edit source]

In one space-time, Android 14 is absorbed by Majin Ozotto.
