Pepsiman, or Pepsi Man, is a superhero mascot for PepsiCo that had the power to deliver the beverage to those in need. He appeared in a total of 13 Pepsi commercials and several video games.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Pepsiman is an official Pepsi mascot from Pepsi's Japanese corporate branch, created sometime around the mid-1990s. Pepsiman took on three different outfits, each one representing the current style of the Pepsi can in distribution. Twelve commercials were created featuring the character. His role in the advertisements is to appear with Pepsi to thirsty people or people craving soda. Pepsiman happens to appear at just the right time with the product.

Pepsiman was created as a result of scientist Satoru Shujinko accepting the power of the Holy Pepsi into his heart. After awaking from his transformation, Satoru, now Pepsiman, returns to the Pepsi headquarters of Japan at which he works. On his way into the building, he hears a cry from a distressed citizen, made thirsty by the slowly expanding sun. He then saves the citizen, as well as the planet, and assumes his rightful place as Pepsiman.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Pepsiman is shown as being somewhat clumsy (usually after any given adventure) but extremely dedicated to providing people with delicious Pepsi. He seems to be well-known and popular with the people he saves, who view him as a hero for bringing them refreshment.

Powers and Statistics[edit | edit source]

Tier: 9-B

Powers and Abilities:

Attack Potency: Wall level (Casually ran through wood and ironed walls several times)

Speed: Superhuman (Outran a Red Pizza truck chasing him at normal speed, the average truck speed being between 50 and 60 miles per hour), Subsonic in short bursts and reactions (Can dodge and jump over cars and motorbikes. Able to completely outrun motorcycles trying to run him over in short bursts)

Lifting Strength: At least Athletic Human (able to lift at least 208.57 kg), possibly higher

Striking Strength: Wall level

Durability: Wall level (Can fall from large heights, get crushed by rocks, gets run over by cars and can still get back up and run)

Stamina: Superhuman (Ran all over the United States, going from San Francisco to New York City, then to Texas and Pepsi City, which would've taken him days to do so, as well as running through several obstacles and a desert without getting tired once throughout his journey)

Range: Standard Melee Range. Tens of Meters with Pepsi-Cola summoning (26.82 meters)

Standard Equipment: Pepsi cans (Up to a max of 100)

  • Optional Equipment: Skateboard, Hover Platform

Intelligence: Unknown generally, Genius physical coordination (Very attentive of his surroundings, dodging out of sight vehicles and obstacles by hearing alone, even with his vision obstructed. Skilled enough to not only stay on rolling barrels, but control their movement as well. Rode a skateboard downhill while evading vehicles after getting on one for seemingly the first time and maneuvered around moving obstacles and multiple gates in his path at high speed on a hovering platform for what seems to be his first time being on one as well. While good at delivering Pepsi to those in need and parkouring through dire situations, he has been shown to miscalculate a jump and become oblivious to his surroundings when distracted sometimes)

Weaknesses: When he is distracted or concentrated on doing certain things he may ignore surrounding hazards, often placing him in awkward and unlikely situations he could have easily avoided. He seems to need to drink Pepsi to maintain his stamina

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Pepsi Summoning: Be it liquid or contained in Pepsi cans, Pepsiman can summon its trademark liquid to quench any human's thirst at will.
