Not much is known about this version of Red, except that he presumably began his Pokémon journey alongside Blue and Green. He appears to have been observing Chase after the latter became the Pokémon League Champion, silently waiting for him to prove his strength by defeating six Master Trainers. Once Chase accomplished this feat, Red finally revealed himself, stepping forward as the ultimate challenge—the strongest opponent awaiting him at the Pokémon League.

Appearance
Red maintains his signature look in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, though he appears slightly older than in his original adventures. He has black, slightly messy hair and wears his iconic red and white cap, which casts a shadow over his determined eyes. His outfit consists of a red and white short-sleeved jacket, a black undershirt, dark pants, and red and white sneakers. A backpack rests on his shoulders, carrying essential items for his journey. His stance is calm yet confident, reflecting his reputation as a battle-hardened Trainer.
Personality
Red remains a silent yet formidable figure, embodying the essence of a dedicated Pokémon Trainer. He speaks little, letting his actions in battle define him. Despite his quiet nature, his presence commands respect, and his unwavering focus makes him one of the strongest opponents a Trainer can face. Unlike Blue, who is more outspoken and competitive, Red is reserved and composed, showing no arrogance in his strength. His willingness to return for rematches suggests that he values continuous growth and challenges, always striving to test both himself and others.
Biography
Red appears in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! as a legendary Trainer. In this continuity, he and Blue completed their journeys and conquered the Elite Four years before the player begins their adventure.
If the player has defeated at least six Master Trainers and has a full party of six Pokémon, Red can be found outside the Pokémon League building at Indigo Plateau, ready to accept a challenge. As with all Master Trainer battles, the player is prohibited from using items from their Bag during the fight.
Upon defeat, Red bestows the title of Battle Master upon the player before departing, though he will return for a rematch each time the player reclaims the title of Champion. His team differs notably from past core series games, as it no longer includes Charizard or Blastoise, which instead serve as the highest-leveled Pokémon on Blue and Green's teams, respectively.
Powers and Statistics
Tier: 9-B | 6-C, possibly far higher, higher with Mega Venusaur
Key: Himself | Pokémon Team
Powers and Abilities:
Attack Potency: Wall level+ (Should be the same as his Origins counterpart) | Island level, possibly far higher (Is far superior to the Master Trainers, who possess the strongest trained Pokémon known to man, putting them massively superior to League Champion-tier Pokémon who have Mega Evolved such as Trace's Mega Pidgeot (proven by the fact that they allow their opponents to Mega Evolve in their own one-on-ones); will not appear to challenge Chase until the latter has defeated 6 Master Trainers himself, is far stronger than Blue or Green’s team, who themselves can only be fought after defeating the Pokémon League and after catching Mewtwo respectively, even years ago he was capable of defeating the Elite Four as well as Blue who did the same), higher via Mega Venusaur
Speed: Peak Human with FTL reactions (Should be comparable to his Adventures counterpart who can dodge and react to attacks from fully evolved Pokémon) | FTL (All his Pokémon are far faster than Post-Champion Trace’s Mega Pidgeot, his Pikachu is far superior to the one owned by the Pikachu Master Trainer), higher with Mega Venusaur
Lifting Strength: At least Class 10 | Class 25 to Class G, depending on the Pokémon (Owns a well-trained Machamp, other fully-evolved Pokémon and a very strong Pikachu)
Striking Strength: Wall level+ | Island level, possibly far higher, higher with Mega Venusaur
Durability: Island level (Comparable to his Origins counterpart) | Island level, possibly far higher (Easily capable of taking hits from the strongest non-Legendary Pokémon on the planet, as Chase has beaten Master League trainers, who own the strongest known iteration of that Pokémon, far more durable than Blue or Green’s team, who are themselves superior to the Elite Four), higher with Mega Venusaur
Stamina: Unknown | Superhuman (His Pokémon are capable of giving an endgame Partner Pikachu a good fight, and are more fortuitous than any other known owned Pokémon in the Let’s Go games; maxed AVs include a massive boost in stamina among other stats), higher with Mega Venusaur
Range: Standard Melee Range | Standard Melee Range, Tens of Kilometers depending on the Pokémon and move used
Standard Equipment: Poke Balls, should own a great deal of Candy as all of his Pokémon have max AVs, multiple TMs, Venusaurite
Intelligence: Gifted; Red is arguably the best Pokémon trainer in context of Let’s Go, Pikachu and Let’s Go, Eevee. Is far better of a trainer than any of the Master Trainers, who have gotten to where they are now by training one specific species of Pokémon their whole lives; even they are considered massively superior to the Elite Four, who are supposed to be the greatest Trainers in the entire world. His team is picked deliberately and calculated just like Blue's, so that no one type can counter two of his Pokémon. Far superior to Green, who planned to catch Mewtwo.
