Appearance

Obni is a green-skinned humanoid with long white hair and a distinctive design. He wears a small blue vest adorned with a medallion featuring a jewel at its center. His abdomen is marked with dark blue dots, and he pairs his vest with brown pants.

Personality

Obni is deeply respectful toward his adversaries and seeks out challenging battles to push his limits. His compassion and devotion to his family are evident, as he carries a cherished picture of them during the tournament. Despite overwhelming odds, he shows immense courage by joining Rubalt in a final stand against Piccolo and Gohan.

In the manga, his bravery is further highlighted when he faces certain defeat. Accepting Universe 10's impending erasure, he boldly confronts Kale in a final act of defiance.

In the manga, Gowasu prioritized training Obni’s heart and character over physical strength in preparation for the Tournament of Power. Obni was selected as one of the ten warriors representing Team Universe 10.

In the anime, when the Tournament of Power began, Obni initially clashed with Tupper. Later, he faced Vegeta but was overpowered and knocked back after enduring a series of punches to the chest.

When Kale unleashed her Legendary Super Saiyan form and used Blaster Meteor, Obni avoided the attack alongside Za Priccio, Monna, and Xiangca. He was later seen with Koitsukai, Pancéa, Cabba, Botamo, and Ganos, observing the Kamikaze Fireballs’ transformation from a distance. However, Brianne de Chateau’s heart-shaped explosions left him disoriented and vulnerable due to their soothing, distracting aura.

After Gohan defeated Botamo, Obni challenged him to a fight, utilizing his feints to confuse Gohan. However, Gohan adapted by powering up to his Ultimate form, countering Obni’s tactics. During the battle, Obni expressed respect for Gohan, asking for his name and stating his gratitude for meeting him. Ultimately, Gohan overpowered him with a Kamehameha, eliminating him as the last member of Team Universe 10.

Following his defeat, Gowasu commended Obni’s efforts, but both he and Universe 10 were erased by Zeno and Future Zeno. Gohan, upon discovering a picture of Obni with his wife and child, silently mourned the loss before resuming his participation in the tournament.

In the manga, Obni fought Piccolo but withdrew after two of his teammates were eliminated by an invisible Universe 4 fighter. He later confronted Kale in her Legendary Super Saiyan form but was swiftly defeated and knocked out of the arena. This marked the end of Universe 10’s participation, leading to their erasure.

Obni and the rest of Universe 10 were resurrected when Android 17 used the Super Dragon Balls to restore all the erased universes.
