Appearance[edit | edit source]

Basil has red fur and wears a torn muffler, black gloves, and red boots. His eyes are normally yellow but turn purple when he enters his muscular state. In this state, his body becomes bulkier, and his fur takes on a pinkish hue. He resembles a Maned Wolf, a fox-like animal known for its long legs.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Basil has a habit of toying with his opponents before showing his full power, making him somewhat arrogant. This attitude contrasts with Majin Buu, who also enjoys playing with opponents but in a more carefree manner. Despite his arrogance and violent behavior, Basil shows deep respect and affection for his older brothers.

Universe Survival Saga[edit | edit source]

Basil, alongside his brothers from the Trio of Danger, was chosen to participate in the Zeno Expo, a prelude to the Tournament of Power. In the first match of the event, Universe 9 was pitted against Universe 7, with Basil squaring off against Good Buu.

At the beginning of the fight, Basil launched a barrage of powerful kicks at Buu, laughing as he landed hit after hit. Despite his intense assaults, Buu was unfazed and seemingly unaffected by his attacks, even when Basil used his special charged kicks. However, Basil's playful attitude shifted when his attack inadvertently injured Mr. Satan, who was spectating the match. This enraged Buu, who then took the battle more seriously, quickly overwhelming Basil and sending him flying out of the ring.

During the fight, Basil initially demonstrated impressive agility and strength, pummeling Buu with relentless kicks and even deflecting Buu's Ki blasts. At one point, Basil channeled his ki into his legs to boost the power of his kicks, which resulted in him blasting a hole through Buu, though it caused no significant damage.

When Buu became angry and powered up, he began to dominate the fight. Basil, battered and on the verge of unconsciousness, was left outside the ring. Despite this, Zeno and Future Zeno were unsatisfied with the fight's abrupt ending, as the rules stated that a fighter could only lose when they could no longer continue or conceded. As a result, the battle was allowed to continue.

After Roh provided Basil with a special item to eat, which allowed him to transform into a buff version of himself, Basil resumed his battle against Good Buu. In this transformed state, Basil fought on par with Buu, even seemingly overwhelming him for a time. However, Buu once again resisted his attack and retaliated by firing a powerful Majin Kamehameha.

Despite enduring the blast, Basil managed to remain standing and prepared to continue the fight. Unfortunately for him, the effects of the drug wore off, and the accumulated damage from Buu's attacks caused him to collapse. Basil, along with his team, was then returned to their world after the preliminaries.

Back on Universe 9, unlike other universes, the Trio de Dangers, along with Sidra and Roh, struggled to recruit members for the Tournament of Power. However, they eventually managed to gather seven additional fighters for the competition.

Once the Battle Royale began in the Tournament of Power, Basil briefly clashed with Top before defeating Rylibeu of Universe 10 by forcing her out of bounds. Earlier, he and Hit had incapacitated Narirama's arms to disable his spin attack. Basil also engaged in battle against Napapa, nearly knocking him out of the ring.

Later, Basil joined his brothers Bergamo and Lavender to target Goku, with Vegeta joining to assist. Despite their combined efforts, the Trio de Dangers were ultimately overpowered and defeated by the Saiyans. Following their defeat, Team Universe 9, including the Trio de Dangers, Sidra, and Roh, were erased by Zeno and Future Zeno along with their entire universe.

In the manga, Basil arrives with his brothers and the other members of Team Universe 9 to participate in the Tournament of Power. Early in the tournament, the Trio de Dangers face off against Team Universe 3's Pancéa, Koitsukai, and Narirama. The trio later engage in battle with Gohan, using their teamwork to gain an advantage over him. However, when Gohan notices Piccolo in trouble, he unleashes an explosive wave that knocks them away.

Regrouping with the rest of Team Universe 9, the trio prepares to fight Gohan and Piccolo. However, before the battle can begin, Frost interrupts and eliminates all of Team Universe 9 except for the Trio de Dangers, who manage to retreat. The trio then renews their attack on Gohan and Piccolo. At this point, Bergamo instructs Basil and Lavender to go after Gohan, but before they can strike, they are both knocked off the stage by Frieza. Frieza subsequently eliminates Bergamo, leading to Universe 9's erasure.

Basil, along with the rest of Universe 9, is later revived when Android 17 uses the Super Dragon Balls to resurrect all of the erased universes.

  • Power Up: Basil can increase his ki to power up, focusing it in his feet to enhance the power of his kicks. The aura he gains has a reddish flame-like appearance, similar to the Super Saiyan God but darker.
  • Shining Blaster: A Continuous Energy Bullet fired from his feet, used in the anime.
  • Wolfgang Pressure: A barrage of kicks that shoot pink aura ki blasts.
  • Dangers' Triangle: The signature team-up technique of the Trio De Dangers, where Basil and his brothers surround an opponent and quickly switch places in a triangle formation, striking when an opening is shown. This technique is designed to crush strong opponents they cannot defeat individually.
  • Triangle Danger Beam: The ultimate team attack of the Trio De Dangers, where Basil and his brothers charge ki in both hands and shoot three colored energy waves (Basil's attack is colored red). This attack was used as a last-ditch effort against Goku and Vegeta but was overpowered by the Saiyans' God Final Kamehameha, leading to their defeat.
