Hit (ヒット, Hitto), also known as "Never-Miss Hit" (百発百中のヒット, Hyappatsu-hyakuchū no Hitto, meaning "Hit the Infallible") and "Legendary Hitman" (伝説の殺し屋, Densetsu no Koroshi-ya, meaning "Legendary Assassin"), is the famed assassin from Universe 6. He later becomes the leader of Team Universe 6.

Hit serves as the main combat antagonist during the Universe 6 Saga.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Hit is a tall, muscular humanoid with purple skin, flattened ears, a bald head, and red eyes. His facial features bear some resemblance to Cell or members of Frieza's race in their final forms. His face is framed by lines, with his facial skin appearing in a lighter purple tone. His cranium has a central division, and his flattened ears match the shade of his face.

Hit's attire consists of a dark cyan undershirt, dark purple elbow and knee pads, and dark purple wrist guards. He wears a dark cyan belt with a yellow buckle, dark cyan pants, and dark purple boots with black toe-and-heel armor. His overall outfit is a long, turtleneck trench coat in dark purple, blue, and grey. In the manga, the lower half of his trench coat is detachable via his belt, allowing him to conceal his leg movements when using Time-Skip.

In the game version of the Universal Conflict Saga, Hit is depicted without the lower part of his coat.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Hit is calm, composed, and generally emotionless, displaying an indifferent attitude toward most events. As a master of his craft, he exudes confidence and fortitude in the face of any challenge. Known for his no-nonsense demeanor, Hit speaks only when necessary and approaches every task with precision. He is unwavering in his commitment to his assignments, refusing to be bribed or persuaded to abandon a contract, regardless of the target. Even when faced with disadvantageous situations, such as being threatened by Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6, or Jiren overpowering him during the Tournament of Power, Hit does not back down and always chooses to confront his opponents head-on.

Despite his antisocial nature, Hit is astute and intuitive, constantly assessing the situation and determining the best course of action. He sometimes displays ignorance of social customs, such as being surprised when Goku bows to him, but he remains respectful in his own way.

As an assassin, Hit is honorable and trustworthy. He reveals himself to his targets and explains his presence, as he does not believe in attacking from behind. If he is not required to kill his opponent, he offers them a chance to surrender, using only the amount of force necessary. He respects those who challenge him, as seen when he allowed Goku to stand up after helping him improve his Time-Skip. Hit has also proven himself to be a team player, notably saving his teammate Caulifla during the Tournament of Power.

Hit is a warrior at heart and enjoys a true challenge. He smiles when facing Goku's competitive spirit and develops a respect for him, giving Goku a fist bump as a sign of approval after their fight. In the manga, he even shakes hands with Goku after the Tournament of Destroyers. Hit values skill and tactics over raw power and constantly seeks to improve himself. In the manga, after recognizing his over-reliance on Time-Skip, he returns to the basics, enhancing his physical strength and martial skills while developing new temporal techniques.

Although he is an assassin, Hit disapproves of using people as mere pawns. He respects Goku's decision to lose their match intentionally to prove their independence from the Gods of Destruction, and he follows suit by allowing Universe 7 to win the final match by feigning defeat. Hit is also reluctant to kill those he deems undeserving, as demonstrated when he gives Goku the option to disappear while reporting the job as complete. After briefly killing Goku as part of their contract, he is willing to end the encounter peacefully, only continuing the fight because Goku insists. Hit respects Goku even more after learning that the Saiyan hired him to push himself to his limits, and he leaves without regrets, looking forward to their next battle.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Background[edit | edit source]

Born over 1,000 years ago, Hit has spent centuries perfecting his craft as an assassin. His reputation is built on his flawless execution of every job, where he consistently eliminates his targets with a single, quiet strike.

Dragon Ball Super[edit | edit source]

Universe 6 Saga[edit | edit source]

Hit is chosen by Vados to join Team Universe 6 for the Tournament of Destroyers, where they face off against Team Universe 7. In exchange for his participation, Hit is promised Champa's cube as a reward if his team wins the tournament. On the day of the event, Hit arrives at the Nameless Planet alongside his fellow Universe 6 fighters: Cabba, Frost, Botamo, and Auta Magetta. He passes the written exam necessary to compete in the tournament, though he remains disinterested in the early matches, sitting with his eyes closed during the first bout between Goku and Botamo.

While Goku defeats Botamo easily and proceeds to fight Frost, Hit shows little interest, opening his eyes briefly when Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan, but then closing them again. Frost manages to defeat Goku using poison, a violation of the rules that goes unnoticed at first, allowing Frost to advance to the next round against Piccolo. After Frost uses the same poison technique, Jaco alerts the referee, leading to Frost's disqualification. However, Vegeta insists on fighting Frost, and Piccolo forfeits to let him. Throughout all of this, Hit remains detached, with his eyes closed and showing no interest in the events unfolding around him.

When Vegeta defeats Frost, Hit notices Frost attempting to sneak away and hijack Champa's cube to steal the treasure he was promised for winning. Hit intercepts Frost, stunning him with a mysterious technique, and informs him that he intends to claim Champa's cube for himself upon winning the tournament. Afterward, Hit returns to the tournament grounds, carrying Frost along with him.

As Vegeta faces Cabba in the next match, Hit remains mostly uninterested, only briefly glancing at Vegeta when he transforms into Super Saiyan Blue. Once Vegeta defeats Cabba, Hit steps into the ring as Team Universe 6's final competitor. Utilizing his Time-Skip ability, Hit attacks Vegeta’s vital points, leaving him confused and at a disadvantage. In the manga, Vegeta is further handicapped by only being able to access 10% of his full power after showing Cabba his Super Saiyan Blue form. Hit urges Vegeta to surrender after landing several blows. He fights with his hands in his pockets, signaling that Vegeta’s attempts to counter him are futile.

During the battle, Vegeta recognizes that Hit’s use of lighter, precise strikes is his main vulnerability. Vegeta boldly declares that he will defeat Hit with a direct assault, but Hit responds with a decisive blow to Vegeta’s abdomen, knocking him unconscious. With Vegeta unable to surrender, the referee declares Hit the winner.

Goku then steps up for his match against Hit, having been illegitimately eliminated by Frost earlier in the tournament.

As the match begins, Goku respectfully bows to Hit, surprising the assassin. Hit questions why Goku hasn’t transformed yet, to which Goku replies that transforming consumes too much stamina, and he plans to save it for later. Goku admits that he’ll wait to transform until he figures out how to defeat Hit, prompting Hit to call him naive for revealing his strategy so easily.

The fight begins with Hit landing a firm kick to Goku’s abdomen. Goku struggles to counter Hit’s attacks, failing to land a blow. Hit warns Goku that no matter how strong he is, continuous hits to his vital points will eventually kill him and advises him to surrender. However, Goku refuses, claiming he’s found a way to counter Hit’s Time-Skip ability. Goku charges at Hit and manages to block his attack for the first time, striking back and causing Hit to bleed. Hit dismisses the wound as a fluke, but Goku successfully blocks more of Hit's moves, landing another kick that genuinely surprises Hit.

Goku reveals that since Hit’s Time-Skip lasts only one-tenth of a second, he can predict Hit’s moves. Hit, realizing he needs to take the fight seriously, removes his hands from his pockets. Goku responds by powering up as well, transforming into Super Saiyan Blue in the anime and a regular Super Saiyan in the manga. Despite Goku's advantage in power, he struggles with Hit's Time-Skip, as predicting the technique repeatedly begins to drain his energy. In response, Goku further powers up into Super Saiyan God in the manga.

Hit unleashes his full power, though he notes that it can only last for less than a minute. The two fighters seem evenly matched until Goku transforms again into Super Saiyan Blue and overwhelms Hit. Hit attempts to counter with his Time-Skip, but it proves ineffective. Goku continues to dominate the battle and, in the manga, decides to forfeit the match, feeling that the fight is unfair due to the tournament rules.

In the anime, after Goku lands a kick, Hit mimics Goku’s power-up screams, pretending to raise his energy level. Just as Goku prepares to strike, Hit uses his improved Time-Skip to deliver a powerful blow to Goku's abdomen, temporarily knocking him down. Hit asks the referee again if killing is allowed, but the referee once more denies the request. As the referee is about to declare Hit the winner, Goku stands up, stating that he’s fine and ready to use a new technique he had intended to use against Beerus, though it only has a ten percent chance of working. Goku begins powering up, surrounded by a red glow within his Super Saiyan Blue aura.

After powering up sufficiently, Goku unveils his trump card: the Kaio-ken technique, and briefly explains it to Hit. The two then collide, with Hit attempting to attack using his Time-Skip ability. However, Goku counters even during the Time-Skip, surprising Hit. Goku explains that his power has now surpassed Hit's ability to manipulate time. Feeling his power diminishing, Goku unleashes a Kamehameha, which puts Hit on the defensive. The energy from both fighters cracks the tournament dome, forcing Whis and Vados to protect the audience and restore the arena. When the smoke clears, Hit reveals that he had further increased his Time-Skip during the Kamehameha and avoided being caught in its blast.

Hit retaliates with a flurry of attacks using his Time-Skip, but as Goku appears to be defeated, he powers up once more and lands a blow on Hit. Both fighters are left kneeling, with Goku's body deteriorating from the strain. Goku then requests that Beerus allow killing in the tournament, believing that Hit’s full potential is only unlocked when he’s allowed to kill. Beerus objects, but Champa supports the idea, claiming that Goku suggested it. As the two Gods of Destruction argue, Goku points out their selfishness, and Hit agrees, noting that they treat the fighters like pawns. In rebellion, Goku steps out of the ring, making Hit the winner by default.

Monaka, the final contestant for Team Universe 7, enters the ring. Champa immediately starts the final match. Hit notices Monaka shaking nervously. When Monaka attempts an attack, Hit is unbothered, but then dramatically screams and throws himself out of the ring, purposely losing the match. While Goku is congratulated by his friends, Hit remarks that he and Goku are now even and returns to his platform. Hit informs Vados and Champa that he has lost interest in the cube and requests to be taken home.

Champa, enraged by Hit’s defiance and deliberate loss, prepares a ki blast to kill him. Champa expresses his frustration with the fighters for embarrassing him and disobeying orders. Cabba tries to reason with Champa but fails, as Champa remains furious with all of Universe 6's fighters. Before Champa can attack, Vados alerts him that Zeno is present in the arena. Zeno's presence scares both Champa and Beerus, sparing the lives of Team Universe 6. Before leaving for their respective universes, Hit and Goku share a handshake, promising to fight again in the future.

"Future" Trunks Saga[edit | edit source]

Hit makes a brief cameo when Gowasu and Zamasu review footage of his match against Super Saiyan Blue Goku during the Tournament of Destroyers.

Later, Hit receives a contract to eliminate a mob boss in Universe 6, easily completing the task using his Time-Skip ability without being detected. After disposing of the mob boss's necklace, Hit checks his assignment device and discovers that his next target is Goku, which excites him. Unknown to Hit, Goku himself had hired Whis (through Vados) to contract Hit, wanting to fight him at full power.

Hit travels to Universe 7 and confronts Goku, telling him that his attacks will no longer be effective. Hit's body emits a purple outline as Goku's flurry of punches and kicks pass through him, as though he isn't there. A stunned Goku attempts to use a ki blast, but Hit counters by sending a shock wave that caves in Goku's chest, temporarily stopping his heart. As Goku collapses, Hit flies away, assuming his mission is complete. However, he soon returns upon realizing Goku is still alive, thanks to a ki blast Goku fired earlier to revive himself.

In a forest, Goku starts learning how Hit's assassination techniques work. After a few failed attempts, Goku eventually manages to block Hit’s attacks and even lands a scratch on him, much to Hit's amusement. Vados reveals that Hit is storing the time he skips, using it to move within pocket dimensions, allowing him to appear in multiple places simultaneously. Goku, having deduced this, powers up to maximum, causing Hit's pocket dimension to shatter and revealing his true location. Hit tries to regain control but is hit by Goku's God Kamehameha, leaving both fighters exhausted.

Afterwards, Hit learns that Goku hired him for the fight, which confuses him. Hit admits that Goku is more complex than he can understand and asks if there is a time limit to the contract, to which Goku says no. Hit then departs, remarking that there are too many witnesses. With a smile, he warns Goku to watch his back, as he will take his time to fulfill the mission.

Universe Survival Saga[edit | edit source]

In the anime, Hit tracks down Frost to recruit him for Universe 6's team, but Frost mistakes the approach as an assassination attempt and attacks Hit. After a brief fight, Hit easily defeats Frost but spares his life, complimenting his improved abilities. However, Hit forces Frost to get rid of the poison on his tail and knees, warning him that using such methods would risk erasure by the Zenos.

At the tournament arena, Hit speaks with Goku. He claims in the manga that he has grown stronger and will not lose to Goku the same way he did in their previous encounter. As the tournament begins in the anime, Hit, alongside Basil, stops Narirama's spinning attack by stomping on his extendable arms. When Universe 9 is erased, Hit resumes fighting and nearly faces Vegeta again, but is blocked by Botamo, who is moving toward the Saiyans. Hit uses his Time-Skip to knock Narirama out of the ring with a single flick and later saves Caulifla from being caught in the crossfire when Kale transforms into her Legendary Super Saiyan form. Hit is shown to be more concerned about Kale disqualifying herself by killing someone than about his own safety. After Kale is knocked out by Jiren, Hit prepares to hold off Jiren, giving Caulifla and Kale time to escape. However, Goku appears and distracts Jiren, allowing Hit to assist Caulifla and Kale in their tactical retreat.

In the manga, Hit encounters Jiren early in the tournament. Like his previous battle with Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Hit's Time-Skip proves ineffective against Jiren, and he is quickly knocked down. Goku, in his Perfected Super Saiyan Blue form, joins the fight but is also overpowered by Jiren. When Jiren is about to knock Goku out of the ring, Hit lands a surprise kick on Jiren, surprising Goku, who thought Hit relied solely on Time-Skip. Hit removes the lower part of his coat, explaining that he no longer relies on Time-Skip due to its ineffectiveness. He fights Jiren as a true warrior but is still unable to make much of an impact.

Hit reveals to Goku that he has a new special technique called Time Lag, which he can only use once. He asks Goku to assist him in defeating Jiren, but Goku refuses, insisting that he will achieve a power greater than Super Saiyan Blue to win. Hit proceeds to fight alone and uses the Time Lag technique, which slows Jiren's movements and gives Hit a temporary advantage. He pushes Jiren toward the edge of the arena, but Jiren reveals that it was a trap. Jiren speeds up suddenly and eliminates Hit with a single uppercut, sending him out of the arena.

After his elimination, Hit appears in the stands, regretting that he wasn't strong enough to defeat Jiren.

In the anime, Hit confronts Dyspo in a heated battle. When Hit initially attempts to use his Time-Skip, Dyspo manages to counter it, revealing that he uses his keen hearing to detect the tensing of Hit’s muscles before the technique is used. Dyspo attacks with his Light Bullet, landing a hit on Hit after avoiding Time-Skip multiple times. Hit realizes what Dyspo is doing, and although he is knocked back several times, he allows himself to be hit strategically while dodging major blows.

As Dyspo charges, thinking he has defeated Hit, Hit successfully uses Time-Skip to move, causing Dyspo to nearly fall from the ring. Dyspo is saved by K'nsi, and the two team up to fight Hit. Despite being restrained by K'nsi's Energy Threads, which allows Dyspo to land hits on him, Hit remains unimpressed. Super Saiyan God Goku intervenes, preventing Caulifla from joining the fight. Goku handles Dyspo, while Hit deals with K'nsi, nearly killing him with his Flash Crush Fist. Hit then switches focus back to Dyspo and lands a massive blow by tensing his muscles, catching Dyspo off guard. K'nsi tries to sacrifice himself by taking Hit down with him, but Hit counters with an enhanced Time-Skip, eliminating K'nsi from the tournament. Dyspo escapes, and Hit and Goku agree to settle their rivalry later.

Later in the tournament, Hit witnesses Goku's new form (Ultra Instinct) during his fight with Jiren. After Goku loses control of his form, Hit saves him from further damage. Hit then confronts Jiren directly, but Jiren effortlessly blocks all of Hit's attacks and counters his Time-Skip, shocking both Hit and Champa. Hit reveals that he had been intentionally taking hits to study Jiren's fighting style. With this knowledge, Hit manages to land a critical blow, nearly knocking Jiren out of the ring. Hit's trump card is an attack that paralyzes Jiren’s body, but Jiren starts to break free. Hit goes for a final attack, but Jiren counters with a barrier and escapes from paralysis.

Jiren then uses Power Impact to send Hit flying out of the ring. Before Hit is eliminated, Champa tells him he did a good job and that his efforts will help the other Universe 6 fighters. Hit watches the rest of the tournament silently from the stands as his teammates continue to fight. Eventually, Universe 6 is erased after Saonel and Pilina are eliminated by Gohan and Piccolo.

However, Hit and the rest of Universe 6 are later revived when Android 17 uses the Super Dragon Balls to restore all erased universes.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes[edit | edit source]

Universal Conflict Saga[edit | edit source]

Hit fights alongside the Saiyans—Cabba, Caulifla, and Kale—against the Core Area Warriors, specifically Kamin and Oren, on Planet Sadala. Initially, Hit battles Kamin but struggles against her barrage of attacks. When Oren switches in for his sister, Hit tries to use his Time Skip, but it has no effect as Oren reveals that he has been input with information on Hit’s abilities. Oren grabs Hit in a chokehold, but Hit fights back by elbowing Oren and blasting him with energy, causing some damage. However, Oren quickly regenerates and retaliates with a Smash Break, forcing Hit to his knee. Before Hit can be hit by another blast, Vegeta and Future Trunks arrive to assist in the fight.

When Oren takes control of Caulifla’s body, Hit is again hit by the Smash Break. Later, Hit teams up with Trunks to buy time for Vegeta, who is powering up his Final Flash. Though the Tuffle twins leave their hosts before the blast hits, it still makes contact with Hit and the others, injuring them. They are then pinned to the ground by Hearts, who uses a gravitational force. Before leaving, Hearts asks Hit who the strongest mortal in the multiverse is. Although Hit remains silent, Hearts reads his mind and learns the answer is Jiren.

In the manga, Hit fights Fused Zamasu in a one-on-one battle, managing to land a powerful blow on him, but it has no effect. When Hearts arrives and asks who the strongest being is, Hit thinks of Jiren, allowing Hearts to read his mind. Hit attempts to attack Hearts, but his Time Skip proves useless. Fused Zamasu then stabs Hit from behind. After the battle, Cabba helps Hit recover.

In the anime, after Fused Zamasu creates a Barrier of Light to attack Jiren, Hit uses his Time Skip to freeze Zamasu in place. He was hired by Fuwa, the Supreme Kai of Universe 6, to eliminate the Core Area Warriors. Hit punches Zamasu and teams up with Jiren and Goku to fight him, but they are pushed back by the energy from the newly completed Universe Seed. After Hearts kills Zamasu, Hit tries to fight him but is easily taken down multiple times.

When Hearts summons the God Meteor to destroy Earth, Hit joins Jiren and Gogeta to stop it. Together, they fire powerful blasts at the meteor, destroying it. After Gogeta defeats Hearts, Hit declares that his mission is complete, and peace returns to Earth.

Supreme Kai of Time Saga[edit | edit source]

Hit is invited to participate in the Space-Time Tournament as a member of Goku's team. During the tournament, he faces off against Hirudegarn, and thanks to Yamcha capturing a Time Fairy, the team advances through the first round.

In the second round, Hit, along with Vegeta and Yamcha, is sent to Planet Glass, where they must face Vidro, a warrior of the Glass People, to acquire the Time Fairy in her possession and win the round. Hit battles Vidro alone and easily overpowers her, stating that the power difference between them is too great. As he attempts to kill her, Yamcha intervenes, firing a Spirit Ball at Hit and telling him that it’s wrong to kill her, even if she is their enemy.

Annoyed by Yamcha's interference, Hit tries to kill him instead, but his attack is blocked by a barrier created by Vidro, who chooses to defend Yamcha after being moved by his kindness.

Speed: Massively FTL+ (At least 118.25 sextillion c, likely at least 946 Octillion c. Kept up with Goku and Vegeta) | Massively FTL+ (At least 118.25 sextillion c, likely at least 9.46 nonillion c. Initially kept up with Post-Future Saga Super Saiyan Blue Goku, before improving further during the Tournament of Power to the point of overwhelming Dyspo and keeping up with a heavily suppressed Jiren)

Standard Equipment: None notable

Intelligence: Above Average overall, Gifted in combat strategy (Hit lives up to his title of "Never-Miss Hit", having gone over a thousand years without failing in a single assassination and killing his targets with a single blow. Though his skills mostly lie in the realm of assassination, leaving him lacking when it comes to non-lethal combat, Hit is an extremely skilled martial artist all the same, relying on his precision and finesse. His casual stance in battle, with his hands tucked into his pockets, allows him to conceal the movements of his fists in conjunction with his Time-Skip, leaving opponents incapable of properly reacting to his attacks as he suddenly strikes their vital points before they realize he's throwing a punch. Hit's no-nonsense approach to combat is incredibly effective, as he quickly and efficiently dispatches any threat with brutal yet graceful ease. He is also a gifted strategist when it comes to combat, as he skillfully lured Dyspo to the edge of the fighting stage and nearly made him drop out if not for Kunshi coming to his rescue; later he easily deceived Dyspo again, by using fake muscle movements, to make Dyspo unable to discern if he used Time-Skip or not, thus confusing Dyspo in battle. When he fought Jiren he constantly memorized Jiren strikes on his body, allowing him to land a successful blow and activate his Time Cage ability to suspend Jiren in time, despite the massive difference in strength)

Weaknesses: Hit's movements during his Time-Skip can be predicted, and his attacks thus blocked or dodged, though this is very difficult. Hit's pocket dimension can be destroyed with enough power. His Cage of Time requires quite a lot of energy and focus to keep an enemy trapped

Attacks/Techniques[edit | edit source]

  • Vital Point Attack - Hit's primary method of attack. He attacks using the Phoenix Eye Fist method of punching in order to focus all of the energy from his blows into one point, thus increasing their effectiveness. Hit aims only for his opponent's vital spots, allowing him to take down his opponents without much effort, even if they are stronger than he is. As shown in his fights with Goku and Vegeta, he can choose how strongly he hits the vital spot, allowing him to avoid overly injuring or killing a foe. This technique, combined with his Time-Skip ability, is proven to be deadly.
  • Time-Skip - Hit's signature technique where he can manipulate time and skip it for a tenth of a second. In that time, Hit moves freely to block and counterattack, usually going for the vitals. Hit can also go into the Parallel World in combination with Time Skip as seen in his fight with Dyspo. In the manga, he stops primarily relying on it prior to the Tournament of Power due to it's flaws.
    • Deadly Intent - A stance Hit takes where he puts his hands in his pockets to conceal his movements before using Time-Skip to strike his opponent. Noted to be part of his fighting style in his fight with Goku in the manga. Named in Dragon Ball FighterZ.
    • Icy Glare - Hit looks at his opponent then he quickly uses Time-Skip to assault the opponent. From the opponent's perspective, Hit doesn't seem to be moving at all. He used this attack to defeat Frost.
    • Time-Skip/Jump Spike - Hit charges towards the opponent and directly punches them.
    • Time-Skip/Tremor Pulse - Hit teleports behind the opponent and kicks them.
    • Time-Skip/Flash Skewer - Hit stands in place and punches the opponent directly in the face.
    • Time-Skip/Back Breaker - Hit turns around and counters his opponent's attack to land a heavy finish on them.
    • Time-Skip/Molotov - Hit's ultimate attack, he uses Time-Skip and then quickly assaults his opponent with a full on barrage of punches.
    • Time Freeze - In the anime, as Hit continued to improve his performance, he was able to refine his Time-Skip to rather than jump ahead momentarily in time, completely freeze the progression of time around him, enabling him to dodge virtually any attack.
    • Ultimate Time-Skip - The super attack of Hit - without the lower part of his long coat - in Dragon Ball Heroes.
  • Sledgehammer - The user cups their hands together and reels back, then slams their fists on the opponent.
  • Tides of Time - In the anime, Hit possess a personal dimension created with the skipped time Hit stores upon using Time-Skip over the entire course of his existence. He can even bring others into his dimension while the rest of time stood frozen.
    • Intangibility - Hit is able to transfer his physical body to his parallel world in order to avoid opponents' attacks, but he still appears in the ordinary world. Hit cannot physically attack an opponent while remaining intangible, he can still attack using his invisible energy blasts.
  • Time Lag - Hit's ultimate technique in the manga, with it he is able to slow his opponent's time - decreasing their movement speed.
  • Vacuum Survival - In the anime, Hit is shown able to survive in the vacuum of space.
  • Full Power - In the manga, Hit is capable of powering up to his full power (which is comparable to a Super Saiyan God's power), however due to his lack of using it much he can only stay at full power for a minute. This was rectified by the Tournament of Power, having reconditioned himself since battling Goku.
  • Killing Techniques - Hit possess several specialized techniques intended for usage in his job as an assassin.
    • Ki Clones - When moving around, Hit is able to leave duplicates of his ki, in order to make it hard to track him. Used in the anime.
    • Flash Fist Crush - A deadly variant of the Time-Skip combined with a warping technique similar to Phantom Fist.
      • Time Release - In the anime, Hit displays a killing variant of this technique where invisible energy blasts (through a punching motion) with enough force to kill an opponent if he hits a vital spot. This attack is near-invisible and passes through matter thanks to it traveling through the Time-Storage world, making it very hard to detect. He can also manifest and release these energy blasts in any direction he chooses.
        • Time Prison - In the anime, by striking an opponent after having continually used Time-Skip, Hit is able to attach a "time cage" to them, it initially appears as a strange effect on his opponent where they were struck before taking effect: ensnaring their movements by keeping them suspended in time.
  • Energy Wave - Used to damage Oren.
  • Finger Beam - Only in the Universe 6 Saga opening in Dragon Ball Super, Hit is shown using this. However, Hit is never seen using this otherwise.
  • Pure Progress: An improvement-based ability utilized by Hit in place of the transformations used by many other fighters, rapidly enhancing his skills whenever he is pushed to his limit. For example, during his first fight against Goku, Hit's Time-Skip doubled in duration before growing further, reaching half a second, and by the time of their second fight, it had grown even longer. He even unlocked enhanced applications of the technique, such as his Time Freeze.

Note: Due to the vast amount of inconsistencies between various feats, statements, and information given about Time Skip, such as the mechanics explained by Vados and Whis, (that it is merely limited Time Travel that stores time) being directly contradicted on multiple occasions, including feats like freezing Goku in time (twice), Hit's own words, and Word of God, or what even qualifies as Time Skip, as Tides of Time (Hit's Dimension-Shift) was initially stated not to be, but this was contradicted later in the Tournament of Power, or regarding how Time Skip has a reliant Dimension connected to it for Time Storage contradicts Hit's testimony regarding how he never made Time Skip do more than its initial basic function before, (and the basic mechanics, as he needs to skip time first to then store it, contradicting even that description), etc. has created a patchwork of incoherence. Due to this, and how the Time Freezing and Travelling related parts of the ability must both be simultaneously true for the plot of the Dragon Ball Super Anime to make sense (as Vados/Whis explanation is the sole reason he has his greater Time Dimension abilities thoughout the Assassination Arc and the Tournament of Power, and he needs the abilities to also specifically be Time Stop for certain major plot sequences, like Time Cage, {a Time Stop ability which is explicitly described as "Time Skip in Reverse"} to affect Jiren), as well as the fact they are used interchangeably at several points, our community has decided to index the ability as both Time Travel and Time Stop, and to simply reconcile the best we can by ignoring these glaring contradictions to get the most accurate listing of Hit's ability.
