Fusion Zamasu (合体ザマス, Gattai Zamasu), commonly referred to simply as Zamasu (ザマス, Zamasu), is the result of the fusion between Goku Black (Present Zamasu in Goku's body) and Future Zamasu using the Potara Earrings. After being erased by Zen'ō in "Dragon Ball Super," Zamasu makes a surprising return in the storyline of "Super Dragon Ball Heroes."

In this alternate timeline, Zamasu allies himself with Hearts, a powerful antagonist who seeks to overthrow the Omni-King. Zamasu agrees to assist Hearts in his plan to defeat the Omni-King, enabling him to continue his "Zero Mortal Plan," a mission to eradicate all mortal life across the multiverse.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Fusion Zamasu has a distinctive appearance that blends features of both Future Zamasu and Goku Black. He retains the green skin, gray irises, and white hair of Future Zamasu but has the height, build, and jawline of Goku Black. His eyes are shaped like Future Zamasu's, with dark lines beneath the lower eyelids, and he has slightly smaller ears. The fusion's hairstyle is similar to Goku Black's Super Saiyan Rosé form but includes a long bang over the right side of his face, resembling Zamasu's mohawk.

Fusion Zamasu wears the green Potara earrings of the original Gowasu on both ears and a Supreme Kai outfit similar to Future Zamasu's but with Goku Black's color scheme, including the undershirt and red sash. As a Core Area Warrior in "Dragon Ball Heroes," his clothing is damaged on the right side, and he wears gear similar to the other warriors, including an eye patch over his right eye.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Fusion Zamasu's personality in the Universal Conflict Saga is complex and characterized by his willingness to cooperate with others despite his inherent dislike for them. He reluctantly follows Hearts, despite being angered by Hearts' remark that Zamasu himself was once a mortal. However, his deep-seated disdain for mortals and his obsession with eradicating them often surfaces.

In the manga, Zamasu attempts to betray Hearts and seize the power of the Universe Seed for himself, only to be stopped by Lagss. In the anime, he tolerates Hearts, believing that his "Project Zero Mortals" could continue after the Zenos are destroyed with the Universe Seed's power under Hearts' command. However, he is taken aback when Godslayer Hearts betrays him, reminding Zamasu of his own ambition to kill gods. This leads to Zamasu's swift obliteration at Hearts' hands.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Super Dragon Ball Heroes[edit | edit source]

Prison Planet Saga[edit | edit source]

Fused Zamasu, thought to have been erased, is brought back by Fu, likely through timeline manipulation. Captured and sent to the Prison Planet, he is imprisoned within the Core Area, where he joins the Core Area Warriors to continue his "Project Zero Mortals" and destroy Zeno. Fused Zamasu surprises Goku by appearing alongside the other Core Area Warriors and uses telekinesis to retrieve Cumber before they all teleport away.

Universal Conflict Saga[edit | edit source]

In the anime, Fused Zamasu appears with Hearts, observing the battles of Oren and Kamin against Vegeta and Future Trunks. Hearts instructs Zamasu to refrain from intervening until Zeno is defeated, and Zamasu agrees, though he warns Hearts not to order him around.

Zamasu follows Hearts and the other Core Area Warriors to Universe 11, where he confronts Jiren after Cumber and Super Oren fail to inflict any damage. The two initially dodge each other's attacks until Jiren scrapes Zamasu's hair, angering him. Their battle is interrupted by Goku's arrival with the Grand Minister, and Zamasu is shocked to see Goku using Ultra Instinct effortlessly. He is overpowered by Jiren, who knocks him into a rock wall and blasts him repeatedly, but Zamasu regenerates, boasting about his invincibility. Jiren questions the extent of his immortality, and Zamasu recognizes the Supreme Kai when Shin appears to teleport the Saiyans away.

Later, Fused Zamasu and the Core Area Warriors head to Universe 7, where they confront the Dragon Team. Zamasu battles Super Saiyan Future Trunks and Vegeta. Trunks questions his decision to team up with a mortal, but Zamasu refuses to answer. He watches as Goku battles and defeats Kamioren. After Hearts merges with the completed Universe Seed, Zamasu defends Hearts from the Dragon Team, defeating all except Goku, whom he overpowers and traps in a painful body lock.

When Hit and Jiren arrive unexpectedly, Jiren knocks Zamasu off Goku. Zamasu prepares to battle the Dragon Team and their allies, but Ultimate Hearts paralyzes him with telekinesis and encases him in an energy cube, reminding Zamasu that his goal was to destroy all gods. Hearts then shrinks the cube down into nothingness, disintegrating Zamasu completely, making him his first victim.

In the manga, after Kamioren's defeat by Jiren, Fused Zamasu attempts to seize the power of the completed Universe Seed but is betrayed by Lagss, who turns him into glass. Future Trunks then slices him in half, leaving his fragmented glass body conscious but immobile in the Core Area.

Tier: Low 1-C

Resistance to

Possibly Resistance to

  • Sealing: Should scale to Cumber who broke the Prison Planet's seal during his fight with Goku

Speed: Immeasurable (Superior to base CC Goku. Roughly comparable to SDBH Jiren and Hearts)

Lifting Strength: Immeasurable (Comparable to SDBH Jiren, SSJ3 Cumber, Super Hearts and Prison Planet Saga SSB CC Goku)

Striking Strength: Low Complex Multiverse level

Durability: Low Complex Multiverse level

Stamina: Superhuman (Never seemed to get tired in any of his fights)

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • God Split Cut: Fusion Zamasu emits a blade of violet energy from his hand to slash and stab his opponent.
  • Sickle of Sorrow: Fusion Zamasu is likely to have inherited this ability from Goku Black, allowing him to slice through space-time to Ignore Conventional Durability and Summon Copies of himself from other timelines.
  • Blades of Judgment: Fusion Zamasu summons an array of red orbs that turn themselves into needles that descend and surround the targets before detonating, leaving little opportunity for escape.
  • Lightning of Absolution: Fusion Zamasu fires off bolts of purple electricity to attack his foes. This attack was powerful enough to incapacitate Vegeta. He can increase the area of effect by generating a giant bird-like creature out of his Ki.
  • Wall of Light: Fusion Zamasu generates a wall of Ki that disintegrates incoming attacks as well as those unfortunate enough to make contact with it.

Note:

  • Fusion Zamasu possibly has all the abilities of Goku because of Goku Black stating that he possesses all of Goku's abilities.
  • Unlike his canon counterpart, he is capable of completely regenerating his body without suffering the same effects caused by merging with a non-immortal Goku Black, meaning that he can't and will never transform into his Grotesque Form. For the same reason, he won't be ever able to become Infinite Zamasu either, due to his canon counterpart achieving that state due to Future Trunks overpowering his weakened regeneration through completely destroying his body, thus forcing his disembodied will to merge with the universe, with this scenario not being applicable to this version of Zamasu for the aforementioned reason.
